At one of these races some guy flipped and they help him up (other side of track :( ) and then on the first turn near me he hits another car cuz of his aerodynamics and does a front flip, it was awesome!

I help out with a race team but we race Sportsman which is close to the same kind of cars only a small bloc in a modified frame and a while ago i knew a guy really well he raced vintage (really nice guy) and he flouted right though a corner (2 and 1/2 stories high) and went over the fence for the pits. And now the pictures of him flying over the pits is what they use to advertise and on pictures, crazy guy! And a friend of mine restored the car not knowing the history! I think it is kind funny..

@outlaw4575 @heroism93 What happened was the car in second lost a motor. You can see him feeling it go south and jerk the car out of line. Seconds later it popped and the whole entry into 1 was oiled down, hence why the 3rd and 4th (in-car) couldn't go anywhere. I remember turn 1 being a mess that whole night after that...USAC and IRP couldn't get it right.

midgets are KNOWN for flipping as well as sprint cars. its open wheel racing thats the only reason, and they are VERY structural sound cars, the chassis is very well built but saying that there are rarely any serious injuries is incompetent, open wheel racing , ( especially midgets and sprints ) is a very dangerous style of racing and they are prone to the driver getting injured because the cockpit is open and they are prone to flipping because of the open wheel style of the car
