UK/France: no help in WW II US would not help Poland now/future, yet Poland slavishly gave herself to US(Iraq/Afghanistan) do Poles think that the US would help Poland if there weren't something in it for the US? Actually yes. When hitler attacked poland he left a tiny force in the west. France wasnt bothered though and launched only a small half-arsed attack!

We're so foolish that we believed during the war time in 1939 that France and the U.K. will help us joing the battle,that was one, secend after the WW II in 1945, the west side appreciate our help during the war by selling us to the USRR. FT 17 mnie jakoś słabo pasuje do września. Z tego co wiem, to oprócz wymienionych drezyn to jedyne jego głośniejsze użycie miało miejsce podczas obrony jakiejś twierdzy (Modlin?) gdzie zablokowano nim wjazd do koszar. Nigdzie chyba nie użyto ich w polu, jak na tym filmiku z 1920...

Who can doubt the bravery of the Polish army in 1939, who fought resourcefully against a ruthless enemy. The same exceptional bravery of the Poles at Monte Cassino and Arnhem. And the Home Army Uprising in Warsaw in 1944.The Poles also gave the UK the Enigma machine which helped win the war. But we abandoned the Polish people to Soviet occupation after the second world war. A great shame. We should have helped them in 1945 to become a free nation. Thanks to the Polish people!

Wiem, ale samo nagranie jest z 1920, ale dobra, szczegół. Poza tym, FT-17 był wykorzystywany głównie jako prowizoryczny bunkier czy drezyna pancerna :P

The French Campaign was lost before it even began.

The Polish military doctrine was based on counterattack! The Brittish and French on defense, and ... even the Soviets understood that defensive doctrine meant a nearly automatic defeat!

Thanks a lot for good words. Yes but it`s only half of true. There was two greatest military power in Europe who attacked Poland in 1939. In 17 September from the east Soviets attacked Poland.

In 17 day The Soviets come with support to German army. War in 1939 could be longer than 18 days and German victory wasn`t so certainly without Soviet commarades.

Blitzkrieg was so blitz because Germany always need Russia to conquer Poland. That was German-Soviet blitzkrieg.
