@tjonahue yea man srry i havent posted or anything ive really only kinda experimented wit the leather face bcuz ive been working around the iowa clown and shipping out orders so i havent really put much effort towards it. i gotta make another cast bcuz i must say i pretty much annihilated the first on with paint it looks like jason from part 7 lol

Honestly, I think this is one of my favorite sculpts you've done, very clean. I think you have made one of my favorite Leatherface style masks. haha, This makes me want to go sculpt a Leatherface mask, lol. Good job though, you have gotten a lot better! What kind of clay do you use? Oil based or water based?

@scarygoat88 its called jolly king modeling clay, i think its a wax base, i know it sounds weird but its actually easier to work with then oil base, but i think im going to switch soon monster makers just came out with this new clay called monster clay. thanks for the positive comment man!

@infl1ct3d Oh, ok. I use Klean Klay, its oil based but I have a heat gun on hand to soften it.

@scarygoat88 oh thats cool, mine is pretty workable with my hands but i like to heat my up realy good to get it a little smoother but also work alot faster

Very nice job bro! I like how you aren't just remaking the mask exactly, kind of putting your own twist on it! Very great job! How is casting in silicone going for you? I just finished my first mask mold the other day, will hopefully be pouring this weekend.

@scarygoat88 well its quite a challenge actually lol the silicone at first kinda has this hard time sticking the mold at first so u really just have to rotate the silicone around the mold for a little bit until it starts to set up but i would honestly recommend using thickener just to speed up the time of the silicone setup. PATIENCE IS KEY!! lol just take your time,bcuz trust me ull be very excited. but yea i always like to put my own twisted touch to a sculpt lol

@infl1ct3d Well keep up the great work man! I am acutally using something called surgical latex, like what they make balloons out of. Stretchier and softer than normal latex.
