Salons don't get talked about much and in 78 and 79 Oldsmobile should have skipped this model. The 78's and 79's are ugly in my opinion.

Damn the one at 1:35 is badass! I have an 86 442 and I love it. The Olds 442 dominated the G-body era in my opinion.

when i was 12 years old I had an 86 olds Salon, hurst shifter but it was not "salon 442" just salon..and when i was 17 I had finaly bought me an 86 442 all original with 442 caps and everything I got the 442 for about $400 back in 01 in bakersfield, CA....

the salon was in perfect condition!, and the 442 was in I would say almost perfect. paint was alittle old but still looked good. no dents engine on both were great the 442 was super strong!! Only problem was people everywhere would stare and I would fear my car not being were i parked it lol

although I'm a big fan of mopars, I still like oldsmobiles, especially the hurst olds, and this is the first time I see the '78-'79 and '90-'91 olds 442!
