  • part 3 ? when xD (i love it)

  • Fantastic editing!

  • CAPTAIN BETHANY AGANA BUILDER IS A STAR TREK DR WHO U.S.S. ENTERPRISE?

  • kidnapping, sentence = community service lol thats about right

  • This is Gallifrey: Our Childhood, Our Home

    Such brilliant music

And well done for this - seriously its brilliant

  • Good work

  • why old Dav?

  • Love this

  • How did you manage producing the Enterprise scan of the TARDIS that Mr. Spock sees?

  • @Redcarpet01 That was all Paul Sibbald, he is really the first person to show us what Spock sees in his scanner. A shot that amazed me, and shocked me that more people didn't notice it. Since in all the years of Trek we never saw down into Spock's scanner.

The shot itself is a combination of a CGI TARDIS wireframe, a series of text readouts that change, and some photo manipulation to show Spock's arm and the inside dimensions of the scanner itself.

  • I... I... I might be in love with you...

  • Hmmm your losing me a bit here, the first one was funny but now any semblance of a story u had is really all over the place and the dialogue isnt fitting together so well. I mean what's the doctor gone backwards from Tennant to Eccelston for?

  • Have you watched every episode of Star Trek and Dr. Who combined?

  • @05you2 I've seen all the Star Trek episodes, and about 90% of the original Doctor Who ones, and 100% of the current 2005 Doctor Who series.

  • How did you get Christopher Eccleston to say "professor spok?"

  • @bear71399 He actually says "Mr. Spock?" when talking to Billie Piper in the episode about the children in the gas masks.

  • what dr who episode is when the dr is talking about the tardis and about running away

  • @ReyAnn3 It's a deleted scene from "Army Of Ghosts".

  • This is great, can't say enough!!

  • how come the actors look diff sometimes? r they diff?

  • That robot thing took Locutus of Borg's catchphrase!

I think the BORG should step in and have it out with that...robotic trash can...with a periscope?! XD

Seriously fun crossover--though I really don't know anything about Doctor Who--and KEEP ON TREKKIN'!

  • I can only recognize that song from the k-9 game from the BBC website!

  • what the fuck how the fuck did you do this this is fucking amazing i want to know what you fucking did to make this fucking awsome video now that I have seen this I cannot watch youtube the same way again for that I hate you but for this i will worship you. seriously tell me what you did for ths video

  • @tsunamaisurfer606 LOL, thanks for the great compliments. I'm glad I've ruined YouTube for you, it was my intention all along.

As for how it's done, over 14 months it was just a lot of hard work and editing, by myself and Paul Sibbald. There's really only three pieces of software used, Sony Vegas for editing and compositing, Photoshop, and Motor Roto. Occasionally we will throw in an After Effects shot, but that's it... Oh and 3DS Max for the TARDIS.

    Thanks Again!

  • @tsunamaisurfer606 enough with the language.. it's good yeah but you don't have to say "f" bombs every 2 seconds.. grow up.

  • Brilliant! Loved it!!! Wish someone would create a whole new one though in a professional studio!!! X-over of Dr Who and Star Trek would be truly awesome!!! Hehe

  • What does Kirk says between 01:34 and 01:38?

    Thanks

  • @idiup Kirk Says: I'm convening a ship's hearing on your actions... this way.

  • @Kelvington tnx

  • This was great....the flash of Rose screaming on the screen was pure brilliance... :)

  • Umm, I hope it's okay that I laughed at the clip right after "And William Shatner". I feel kinda bad now.

  • ok.... so the Daleks listened to the Borg's advice and got into the collective XD

BTW nice name(The Wrath of Caan(Khan))

  • ok.... so the Daleks listened to the Borg's advice and got into the collective XD

  • My to favorite shows put together. Amazing!

  • OMG ITS ECCLESTON!

  • the amount of sense being made is nill

  • two words for abrams and the bbc MAKE IT

  • Many Thanks! @Kelvington i'll go check out your tutorial:)

  • What effect did you use to put the doctor in the clip? Chroma key?

    BTW awsome vid!

  • @danielchenny168 It's called Rotoscoping, it's a pain staking process of removing an item or actor from their original footage and inserting them into another video. You can watch my "How'd He Do Dat Part 1" to see a sample of how it's done. Where I rotoscoped David Tennant's brown suit and made it blue.

  • I like the combination of Dalek and Borg there, very nice!

  • Would it be great in the Title sequence that the star trek ship flying with the tardis on the vortex

  • im a little confused

  • LMAO...BEAUTIFUL

  • AWESOME

  • insert monty python quote "RUN AWAY!"

  • Dalek Caan's speech would have been, "I am Dalek Caan of Skaro, lower your shields and surrender your ships, we will add your biological and technological distictiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile." like the Borg in First Contact.

  • Dalek Caan screams UUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCKKKKKKK!

    lol

  • LOL, actually he's screaming KKKKIIIRRRKKK!!! which is a parody of Kirk screaming Khan in Star Trek II. But I like yours too!

  • Honestly... the Ninth Doctor is MY Doctor.

  • lol the rose thing is behind! the doctor on the starship enterprise rofl

  • The problem was just a loose wire in my speakers.

  • the sound got all messed up when I tried to watch this. the background noises are all there but the characters stop talking at points. also the davros character isn't beeping anymore.

  • This seems to be a flash issue, if you update it, you will be fine. Sorry!

  • Cool, you made the Daleks use the Borg's speech.

  • Great Video 5*

Quick question; Which episode is the one where the doctor offers someone a getaway on the TARDIS? appears at about 04:20. Its killing me :D

  • lol reverse the plorality productions

    lol 10th to 9th

haha they called their own creator an abomination

  • 4:33 Rose on the screen. LOL!

  • outstanding

  • AMAZING! GENIUS! BRAVO! More more more!!

  • @tardiswatch When The Doctor became The Doctor (got his doctorate), he dropped his old name. I mean literally, he got rid of it. It was too long and complex anyway. And after all the other timelords got fried (well most of them), he also lost that Feet Of Sigma nickname another timelord kept referring to him as.

So, either stating that he has no name, or that his name is the doctor, would pop up as both being true. Especially since The Doctor is A TITLE, not a name. But he picked it as one.

  • Nice! Well done! I'm glad you knew all that, I couldn't remember it. In particular I forgot his nickname that he was being called by college pal.

  • omg this is total genius........well done. more please!!!!! klingons vs daleks? or borg??

  • This is the most awesome thing I have ever seen!

  • You are The Master! Wow. Kudos and More!

  • That's a good point, when I was writing it I thought, EITHER... The Doctor is the name Torchwood/Section 31 knows him by, even though we know it's not REALLY his proper name. Or after three attempts they were just sick of asking him and moved on.

  • This is, to quote the ninth Doctor, FANTASTIC!!. Can't wait for Christmas Day for the final part.

  • Bloody good job! As someone who plays on the orchesral music track..........RESPECT!! Can't wait for the double Christmas episode!!

  • Thanks. I love Who Music! It's very distinctive and always makes me happy when I listen to it. Keep up the great work!

  • @Kelvington We have recorded the Christmas Day episode already and we go into the studio again to record the next episode music in Cardiff on Monday 21st Dec! Ben Foster conducts his own orchestrations of Murray Gold's original music! Glad you like it!

  • OMG!!!! What can I say? There just aren't words that do justice to how much I like this video.

    I can't wait for part 3.

    5 stars. I'd give you 10 if I could.

  • nice touch with rose on the screen behind him!!!!

  • Thanks, I sneaked that by most people. Good eyes!

  • haha thanks!

  • Where is the third part ?

  • Christmas Day 2009... The final part will be released... in two bits, but both will be posted on Christmas day.

  • Torchwood! Still around!! Bet it's still run by Jack. LOL

    Brilliant! Can't wait for xmas!

  • Brilliant. Well done!!! *applause*

Looking forward to the next part. I love it. :D LOL

  • I noticed Uhura fancied DW right away. I ain't bothered...what else would Donna say ?..A Smashing Time..keep it up.

  • sweet love the ending of this one, It's like shoving it down threw though

  • 7:49 is priceless! :) super rofl!

  • why is half the sound so quite?

  • Brilliant, funny, and completely ridiculous.

    Very silly.

    I like it!

  • Bloody Brilliant!

  • AWESOME!!!!! Much better than part I, can't wait for part III

  • I once had an idea of having Doctor Who cross over with Star Treck TNG the story would invole doctor & his two companians ariving on bourd the enterprise meeting Picard & the crew The Master posing a an admaral would turn in shuttle craft (a tardis in disguse) who make an aliance with the Borg, the master also tell Picard that the Dr. & his two friends are smugglers & sabatours, Picard would lern the truth when Deanna Troi suspect that master isn't a real admaral

  • Comment removed

  • what program did you use to do all of that?

  • Lol, Doctor uses a Scottish accent.

    -Scotty stares at him-

  • I CANNOT WAIT for part 3.

  • I am impressed. Now I have to show my sisters!

  • These videos are seriously raising the bar on youtube crossovers. Wow.

  • My god that's brilliant!!! Seriously AMAZING.

  • That was amazing. both parts

  • well done! it's seriously good! they so should have done something on the lines of this for childrenin need! and loved the introduction of Chris!

  • They actually tried to plan something like this when the original Who and Trek were on, but Star Trek was canceled before anything could get off of the ground.

  • absolutely fantastic... the best i've seen on youtube. congrats.

  • the first two parts are amazing and i cant wait to see the third

  • OMIGOD AWESOME 100% AWESOME!!!

  • these mashups are brilliant

  • 2:31 TORCHWOOD!!

  • bloody torchwood !!

  • LONG LIVE THE TARDIS !!!!!!!!!! .

Im surprised you made Spock admit that the Tardis is Superior to the Enterprise ! , well , it is really , and as any Doctor Who Fan will admit , the Tardis is far Superior to any other Spaceship , wither they really exist like a US Space Shuttle , or even if there Fictional like Kirk's Enterprise ! .

Looking forward to part III Christmas Day Rick ! .

  • And the Tardis is stronger. It will take a million hits from a Nuecular warhead to destroy The Tardis.

    How many for the Enterprise?

    JUST ONE!

(Take it from a fan of both shows.)

  • Yeah , im a Fan of both too . I kinda get annoyed when i see that the original Series of Star Trek was in Colour from the very begining ,yet Doctor Who didint go into Colour until January 1970 . 60's Doctor Who is ok in Black and White , but i often think what it would have been like if it was in Colour from the Start in November 1963 .

  • Well it's takes much more money to make a show availible in color. Star Trek's budget was more money than Doctor Who's. Even when it was most popular in the mid 70's it still had low budget.

  • you have to remember that the UK did not really start to broadcast in colour until 1971..and we only had 3 tv stations at that time!

  • Actually, I recall the Enterprise taking a nuke in TOS and surviving.

I wish I could remember the ep...

  • The Episode was Balance of Terror. They survived it cause they were escaping it and got to it's weakest distance point. The Torpedo that was fired at the Enterprise had a very strong warhead.

  • to quote my least favorite doctor " fantastic!"

  • brilliant bellisimo molto bene

  • LMAO AMAZING

  • Oh no the Trailer at the end! Does it mean Captain Kirk is gonna die? Well I guess if your in Doctor Who, you might die and might not.

  • Awesome! great work...My two favorite sci-fi shows combined.

  • Great Job!

The storyline takes a little imagination but that's awesome! - just I don't really get why both doctors are there?

  • it's a trek though time, so he ran into the other Doctor before it all happen

  • Absolute genius!!! :D I have to say, en re that shot with the Doctor on the bridge, Uhura would make a fantastic Companion. Love it! :D

  • this is seriously impressive :) brilliant...if you don't mind me asking, what software are you using? it looks great x

  • just found this for the first time-Lord it ain't bad - Its fine Jim, but not as we know it! - Jolly good show, what, what?

  • Looking forward to part 3! Wow! You must have had so much work to make part 1 and 2. I wonder what kind of program you used to combine star trek and doctor who in one scene.

  • What's the name of the music from 9:22? Because I really would like to know.

But apart from that, it was Brilliant!

  • We credit that music in the video as "Trailer Music" by X-Ray Dog, it's called Dark Empire. There's lots of versions of it up here. We pick it up at about 1:10

  • that is a certain version of Dark Empire. could you specifie which one?

  • When the doctor says "I have...a machine. Called the TARDIS? And you and me...just...you and me...can get in the TARDIS and fly away. We can fly to the other end of the universe and escape."

What episode is that clip from? Surely it's not THAT edited! It matches up perfectly!

  • Do you want to know ALL our secrets? LOL It's from unused footage from Doomsday. And I worked like HELL to find a way to use it, so it would see totally fresh.

  • It IS totally fresh and I LOVE it. I'm sorry for being so nosy. It's only because I'm such a rabid who fan that any new dialog causes me extreme excitement. :P

    *hug*

This is fantastic work. The editing is...delicious. Thank you ever so much for sharing and putting so much time and effort into this, the mother of all geeky crossovers. :)

  • Where's part III? i can't find it.

  • Christmas 2009 These take a long time to produce.

  • Ahh. Thanks.

  • omg this is like super editing!!! great job!!

  • Watch in HQ? I cant, but can watch HD!

  • Good point, I think when I first put this up it was still saying HQ, instead of HD. But I've fixed the description now.... Thanks

  • I did like it, but was a bit out of context some places, ofc

  • Kirk was never THAT quick to blow up the enterprise...

  • Not HIS Enterprise. I think in an alternate reality, he might just blow one up for kicks... plus it was empty of crew. ;)

  • Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is without a dought the best paradoy of dr who/startrek ever. cant wait for part 3

  • at 4:01 what episode of dr who is that from?

  • It's unused footage from Doomsday.

  • Which Episodes Of Star Trek Are These Clips Taken From

  • There's about a fifteen different ones used. From Last Battlefield, Paradise Syndrome, to several others.

  • briliant. u combined the 2 greatest Sci-Fi TV sries briliantly. cant wait for number 3!

  • this proves it, you are THE best editor on youtube.

  • Nice putting rose in you didn't forget!

  • Now that there is a new Star Trek movie you might be able to use some of those clips!

    Great work,

    Zero

  • YOU ARE AMAZING

  • the person making these should have a proper editing and cgi job this is outstang so i say well done ur incredable x

  • Thanks, the "person making these" would be myself and Paul Sibbald.

  • wel done xxx

  • In think my comment I just sent ended up in that parallel universe. LOL Anyways, as I was saying. I love these so much I actually downloaded them and now I get to watch em anytime plus I've been telling people about it. u know, I never did like the classic series of Star trek but I sure do respect it and apreciate it more because it was there, first. Well Doctor Who was out before star trek... anyways, I'm ranting and I'll shut up now. As always, loved it!

  • That is friggin impressive and you know what... You really got me to apreciate the classic series of Star Trek to which I never liked before. I'm a Next Generation and Voyager fan. LOL Thanks for letting me watch this clever mastepiece. :)-

  • Is there an award for quality, quanity, etc, nationaly for product on YouTube? This would win hands down.

  • Bloody Brilliant!! *___*

  • This kind of thing makes my nerd heart sing.

  • Me and my son (Age 4) just sat down and watched part 1 and 2 and we both enjoyed it so much. Thank you. Roll on part 3. My son has NO CLUE who William Shatner is though - I feel a star trek marathon coming on...lol

  • Brilliant!!

  • A bit rough around the edges but got better as it went on, nice.

  • OMG, this is brilliant...LOVE it, Kirk should kiss Donna though he always gets the girl

  • Very enjoyable! Loving the wee trek-isms through it - Dalek borg etc

  • Thank you, mate!

This is bloody brilliant. Will this be available on DVD? Where can we get the avi version?

  • Brilliant editing! Very well done.

  • Oh my god!!!!! This is bloody brilliant, how did you do it, its fantastic, i love it.

Will you be doing a part 3? Please say yes.

  • Can I ask what was the software you used to make these films?

  • It's about 99% Vegas Video, with a little After Effects for stabilizing certain shots.

  • Yes.

  • The Doctor: "Outside those doors, we might see anything."

Captain Kirk: "I don't like mysteries. They give me a bellyache and I got a beauty right now."

    The Doctor: "I'm the Doctor."

  • I'll have that! That's pretty good.

  • Oh my freaking Allons-y! This is the most professional, best mashup, I have ever seen. Except for "Trek Through Time Part 1", which I thought was better.

The Doctor: "Outside those doors, we might see anything."

James T. Kirk: "I don't like mysteries. They give me a bellyache and I got a beauty right now."

The Doctor: "I am a doctor!"

  • Bloody brilliant this is absolutely Brilliant

  • "Inducing Stockholm Syndrome" LMFAO.

BTW: Where is the distortion coming from? Source material? Youtube?

  • This Makes me and my Video's look like second rate stuff, very well done sir, I bow to you.

  • Unbelievable. Where the hec did you get the video editing software?

  • It's mostly Sony Video Vegas.

  • Awesome! :D

  • You are a video GOD!

And the end is so funny ! ! !

Thank you for sharing such a GEM

  • what programme did u use to make this?

  • This is absolutely amazing!!!! Sorry I havnt been able to watch it sooner. I was in a part of the world that doesnt know what internet is yet; Ireland! Was really really looking forward to this too. Its so so clever and I hope people appreciate how hard these things are to do.

I filmed some stuff to start doing my own rotoscoping, starring myself and my brother lol Im sure I'll be calling on you for help! But not until I finish my degree next month.

    Cant wait for Christmas!!!

  • Yes great viewing and put together quite nicely ;) yes waiting for part three sooner than later.

  • Haha, I get it. Trek Through Time III: Quest for Kirk and Star Trek III: Search for Spock! :D

  • "The Doctor's vessel is far superior to that of the Enterprise."

    Heck yes it is!!!!!

Daleks on Star Trek?! are you kidding me? This is awesome!

  • I like the Dalek doing Locutus.
