for the love o' god, can anyone give me some frickin pointers on circular breathing? i can do it fine without my didge, but when i get it on my mouth its impossible :@ what could i be doing wrong?

maybe pushing too much air out of your mouth too fast? idk man its kinda one of those things you just have to practice at.

heres a little trick an old man taught me...

take a straw and a cup of water, blow through the straw into the water, practice keeping the bubbles in a steady unbroken stream.

When you do it without the didge, are you taking quick forceful breaths? If not, when you translate to the didge you may not have enough cheek strength and air pressure to keep the lips vibrating to continue the drone.

Try to inhale as quickly as possible and then get right back to the drone, let me know how it goes!

Funny u should say that. I just started playin and im thinking of giving up smoking (cannabis-i dont smoke tobacco) because i keep running outta breath when i play after i've been smoking !!!

you dont need to stop smoking (cannabis) The only thing you should learn is circular breathing. Well stop smoking is always the best solution and you can start making brownies. But I like to smoke and then play didge hours.. The vibes are so irie, and when you record it you'll have fun times next day.
