  • These are just like the ones they have out in Omaha,NE>

  • ill stick my fuckin nob in it

  • Thats not a horn, it's a Civil defense siren!

  • Hey, a tornado coming... Lets film the horn and get caught in tornado... -_-

  • Thats bullshit to my ears...

  • every wendsday? we do it the first wensday of each month

  • sounds like the attack signal is a little jacked up.

  • Wow : 185 DB ! Amazing!!

  • 2001s are AWSOME! :D

  • we have a few of those in my town. but the closest one to my is a very old alarm

  • cool

  • a lot of cities are doing away with rotating sirens and are switching to Modulators and the Whelen WPS 2909 because they are a trusted warning system. Mechanical sirens always fail. Thunderbolts are great and they sound good but this country needs to move forward with something that wont fail.

  • this went off when planking was invented.....coincidence?!?! O_O

  • Talk about a screamin' demon--sheesh!!!

  • Fuck this siren. I'll take a T-128 or any Sentry siren over this one. I'll even take a Whelen (the hi-lo and airhorn modes are friggin awesome)

  • I have one of these right across the street from me. It is a field across the street

  • I thought wail was 6 secs on/6 secs off

  • no wonder why they call it a "TORNADO HORN"

  • dear FS,

    make thunderbolts again!!

make t-bolts run on DC instead of AC, we need to keep the original sound of a true tornado warning

  • *TO CLARIFY ITS CALLED A TORNADO SIREN NOT A TORNADO HORN!*

  • They had these ones setup around a nuclear powerplant where I lived. Just in case something were to..... you know, go wrong.

Once a year they would test them, but they would always announce on the news that they were going to test them on such-and-such day and time.

  • I want to put my ear right next to it when it sounds off

  • there was an invisible tornado, they kill hundreds of people every year

  • What a hillbilly tornado siren. We have one in Clarksville like this and the storm that went through a few nights ago nearly knocked it all the way over!

  • Is this the one off Harkrider?

  • I have this right outside my High School.

  • @GTX177 son of a bitch, so do i! course ours is terribly outdated, the motor dont even work on it.

  • damn every wensday now i know why my grand ma hates it there

  • I like that sound

  • every wednesday? Poor people who live there!

  • I HATE tornado sirens. They make me run to the basement. XD

  • @KittyFAN13 Well duh,you are supposed to run to the basement when you hear this!

  • @KittyFAN13 I think thats the point lmao

  • run lock ur doors hide ur shit hes comeing!!! who? debo! who? DEBO!!! lmao

  • que miedo xD

  • I love sirens, dunno why.

  • Gimme a T -bolt, or a healthy Allerton 125

  • Comment removed

  • are these in litteraly every city or town in the world?? and by these i mean like just sirens in general not just tornado sirens

  • I like those kind of sirens

  • Its usally called a siren, not a horn

  • omfg i HATE tornado sirens! lol

  • @19HeartKeeper97 #FAIL

  • I play this is the morning to wake up my family ;]

  • AHHHHHHHHHHH, whats going on neighbour, HARRIE THE GERMANS ARE COMING, GET YOUR FAMILY AND GET IN THE BUNKERS

    BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

NOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT MY WIFE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, WHY WHY ME, BAAAAAM *SUICIDE*

  • @7JDH7NL7 *cough* ok....ok then

  • oh you dumbass its a federal signal 2001

  • pretty loud for a lil thang!

  • @pur3reem zzzzzzzzzz *siren goes off* WHAT THE!?!?!?!?

  • @penguinmaster7 LOL *Speaker says* owned hahaha =P

  • That would suck if I was nappin xD

  • The Federal Signal 2001's are Dissapointing in almost every Aspect...especially that Super High Pitch!...its so Annoying!....and it doesnt Grab your Attention like the Roar of a Thunderbolt Either.....cause Thunderbolts are Awesome!

  • @form109

Hell yes! Kansas City, MO has an all-2001 system, and it sucks big time. We lost our last Thunderbolt, a 1003, in 2002 when some asshole backed into it with a truck. Within 72 hours a 2001-130 was in its place and ready to run. The siren closest to my house is about 5mi away. It's a 2001-130 on the roof of a shopping mall. It's had a broken rotator for about a year now, and guess which direction it's stuck in.

  • @twotailedavenger i know Dallas,Texas has a Few Thunderbolts Hanging Around....but their Newer Sirens are 2001-130's.

  • @twotailedavenger we have a system of Federal Modulators...those aren't great either

  • enemy nuke incoming!!!!!!

  • Ah, Arkansas... what else is there to do? Jokes :p

  • Did you people hear go off today with all the Tornado warning we had?

  • omg it scared my family when the hread the siren in video

  • not a horn its a siren but yes nice vid

  • cool

  • shut up!

  • Maybe he just not a siren enthusiast!!!!

  • And a OVX.

  • when i was 7 tht siren scare the liveing crap outta me and now im 11 and it stil does..

  • It reminds me a bit of silent hill siren

  • Glad I'm not the only one who thought that xD

  • dude federal law states that they can only test it 2 times a month.... or else it could become a warning hazard..... everybody would thing that it was just a test if it went off one day..... get smart.. lol jk but yah its 2 times a month

  • @kmvtcamera Well some cities test every day at 12 O'clock (mostly small cities) and some other cities test every weak, and the federal law is not on there ass. If it is a law then it is not enforced.

  • the sirens where i live are tested every saturday at noon.

  • yah, i no, but if its in a major state like michigan or texas, its only allowed 2 x's a month... , SkooterBush, where do u live

  • mississippi.

  • @SkooterBush that has that law applied to, i know because my grandmother used to live there before she passed away... she was in new orleans during katrina, and we had the last flight out, you could see the whole arm reaching over the city..... scary as shit!!!!! :0

  • @SkooterBush in columbus where i live we are tested every wednsday at 12:00

  • Federal 2001's Suck

  • where in central arkansas

  • Near Conway, Arkansas

  • ahhh i live near benton out by scott theres either a p50 or p10 still activated

  • @dhollywoodtcworksnet my unchle lives there... was it an actual storm?

  • @mrssasukelover No....It was just a test.

  • @dhollywoodtcworksnet ohhh it looks stormy but what if one wednesday it was storming but not to bad do you think it would make the ppl fall for it?

  • lol what if u have a tornado at 12 noon on wednesday and you think its just a test, bye bye

  • i hate our fucking siren. our high school is right across the street from it and they test the damn thing all the time. its annoying especially when we have class.

  • You should record it.

  • i will try to

  • Dude this siren sucks

    Thunderbolt. Rawr.

  • my town has the same kind

  • wats the sound name for it i want it for my ringtone

  • @Morwekful oh my god REALLY?!

  • @flippy941 ? Whats you're point kid? Of trying "Oh my god REALLY" To my comment, Please don't message me stupid things.

  • @Morwekful okay whwhat i ment these dont play good on cellphones

  • @flippy941 Lol, you're a moron saying " Oh my god really " Does not mean it does not play good on a mobile. trolol Kid, You're telling me you think that means that then there some issue with you =/! Anyways thanks.

  • @Morwekful you got the moron part right!

    no problem!

  • nice 2001-130!

  • yes...I agree! Thank you for watching/commenting ! ;^D

  • ive heard one of these before

  • not horn, SIREN, FS 2001 series, probably FS 2001-130

  • I named my video Tornado "Horn" because there are too many videos called Tornado "Siren"...I wanted mine in a class of its own...I can also find my video alot quicker that way,and so can others...lol

  • ahh, i see, thanks for the reply

  • Yeah I know. We are just use to it thats all.

  • Def a 130. 130's have the new big logo on the front of the horn.

  • thee angles sing

  • love that noise

  • haha me too

  • 2001-130

  • that sounds like the Q

  • why would they have to test this weekly? what if there was actually a storm at the time?

  • Federal Signal 2001-130

  • it is a 2001 130

  • Dooms Day Horn

  • Its called an FS-2001 not a Tornado Horn.

  • Federal Signal 2001-SRNB's are always referred to as horns and I'm not quite sure why...

  • I know. I just was pointing it out thats all lol.

  • Read reply comment after "captinkeys1"

  • why does it spin at the higher pitch sound haha

  • They test it EVERY SINGLE WEDNESDAY???? Talk about overkill! They could do it once a month and be totally fine. Or just beep it for a second every Wednesday, like you would if you were testing the fire alarm in your house.

  • my old city had cold war sirens aand they woould always go off when the power went out

  • if they were from the cold war they wouldn't work when the power went out

  • what if there is a real tornado and it is at wed. at noon. i guess you would see it!

  • they cancel the test if there is severe weather on test day.

that happened to me... i sat under the service drive tbolt for 10 minutes, and nothing happened... D:

  • was a tornado there?

  • No-There was no tornado-it was just being tested. They test it every Wednesday at noon in case of a real tornado.Thank you for watching!

  • That is a 2001-130 Tornado Siren

  • ew lol

  • I know huh?

  • That's what I have in my area. For some reason, they stopped testing. In my opinion that's really dangerous.

  • I'd agree. These sirens are having quality control issues to an extent (no suprise there) and some are having rotators fail, even chopper motors fail. Also these run primarily from their batteries so if the batteries die, so does the siren. Your area should really start testing again...

  • Yeah it's almost like. "Why are we testing if we don't get tornadoes?" Hell, watch that siren ain't gonna be around for us to hear it huh?

  • everyone can get tornadoes. take it from a meterologist

  • yea me a can man

  • lol it sounds like a fire truck XD

  • i think a Federal Q (typical fire truck siren) is 12 port, just like this. That's why

  • I HATE 2001!

  • same here

  • i have a bunch of these tornado horns

  • you ar a can man ...

  • uh so freaky. those sounds creep me out sometimes lol. great videos tho! ^^

  • wow. that´s cool, but horrible sound. hahah

we have that too, but not for a tornado, just for the air.. the first monday in the motnh..

  • cool

  • if i were there and i heard that horn, i would have had a heart attack.. im scared of that horn sound

  • every person who loves sirens can name this one

  • Its a Federal Signal 2001-130

  • That is a creepy-soundin' mother...If I heard this during a storm I'd probably pee myself. XD

  • I would be happy to hear to it! that way i know that a storm is heading my way and i can prepare. But i think everyone would agree with me that if you can hear a siren loud and clear you will get the warning.

  • very clear...made my dogs freak a little. im using this download to scare "some" people when they knock on my door.

  • federal signal 2001-130

  • You live in central? I am moving to Springdale or in that little area at Christmas time from Fargo, ND! Our alarms go off every day for testing. The actual storm sirens go off about once every 2 months here!

  • Yes,I live in the central part of the state, near Conway.I love Arkansas.I wouldn't live anywhere else. There is so much beauty in this state. That's great you are moving here.Arkansas has so much to offer. That's cool about your alarms in ND.Thanks for the comment.

  • We are looking for housing near the mountains, so hopefully we will never have to hear these for a storm! Arkansas looks so beautiful from what I've heard. Can't wait to live there!

  • I think what they're doing is sounding several short alert cycles, because those would be too long for attack cycles, and if it was going off in attack, it would most likely keep rotating whenever it winds down.

  • I've seen a 2001 with rota-stop

  • that siren is a federal signal 2001-130

  • Are city is full of 2001-130s.

  • its like a really, really, slow 2001 in attack

  • Thank you!!Yes,you're right,it does sound weird.

  • Very nice siren.

  • Thank you buddy.I'm glad you like it.

  • Cool video! What city is this in?

  • Thank you very much-I really appreciate it!This siren is located in Conway,Arkansas.

  • Cool. I have a slide show of wrecked cars for sale at Linns Auto & Equipment Sales which is in Conway.

  • Yes,I do and I enjoy making videos.Thank you for the nice comment.

  • i can tell that you put alot of hard work in the videos..

  • Awesome video of the 2001-130! Great job!

  • Thank you very much for the nice comment.I really appreciate it!I like your background pic.of the tornado siren on your profile page.Awesome!!!

  • Nice video! I love the quality! The name of that tornado siren is a Federal Signal 2001-130. Those are the newest 2001 models.

  • Thank you for the nice comment. We have a couple of things in common:My name is also Dan (Daniel)and I also hsve a r/c ufo just like the one in your video. Thanks for the info.on the type of tornado siren in my video.Take care.
