hey what key did you play this in? I have a version in D minor , not sure if it's commonly played in c minor or d minor, or even a minor.

It is A minor. The keyboard version is C minor and there are a smaller amount of versions in D minor too

Beautiful playing Matt. I learned how to play some classical guitar many years ago also. I still very much remember how to finger pick classically and still remember how to play a few pieces. But it's all just memory, if I had to read it from sheet music it would take me forever. You make me want to learn more. Thanks.

This was recorded on my Tony Johnson 1991 guitar. It is almost like a Parlour guitar in size. It weighs as much as a guitar made out of cardboard LOL, it is ridiculously light. Also it is very loud and mellow!

I am very impressed. To be honest, I prefer your interpretation than the one I have on CD from John Williams. Even though Williams performance is totally flawless, it sounds to me too mechanical and without any emotion. Your interpretation makes me 'feel' something. Oh playing live can be scary. I played Bach on a competition a few months ago, those pieces were not as difficult as this one, but still ... So many things can go wrong with Bach and it's hard to remember.
