Pretty good cover. You need to try to reach higher notes though, starting on 3:45. There the notes just needed to be a bitter higher. But I need to say it again, it's still a pretty nice cover :).

Very good first performance. Singing with a mic is tough if you're not used to it, so kudos on your vocal focus and, most importantly, your emotional involvement, which I personally find REALLY important. Nothing as boring as people singing something perfectly but like robots.

If you get some training under your belt, your voice could become truly amazing. Keep at it!!

Truly lovely voice! This is one of my favorite songs by Nightwish, and you did a purely excellent job. Of course there were a few sticky spots, but there always are.You worked through them, and that's truly what counts.

I'd recommend working on that finale a bit more. Bring it up to a higher climax. You did well, but just the end was a tad lacking.

Otherwise, I LOVED it. 5 stars!

you're pretty good on the lyrics to. i sing nightwish a lot to..but more tarja's than anette's cuz im opera. i love anette's songs to but my voice needs more practice for non-opera songs lol

to memorise lyrics, i usually take one song & play it over & over all day (yes actually not exaggerating!) & read the lyrics over & over. i usually youtube that song looking for ones with the lyrics written into the video. maybe try something like that...

friggen character limit....anyway...im using that tactic for the song wishmaster...gods thats a hard one for me! another thing i do a lot...i have the end of an era disc..i play it several times a week, almost everyday & sing along with it. it helps practising with the voice & memorising lyrics. the songs i have more trouble with....*cough* wishmaster*cough* i use the other way i told you about. im waiting for anette to put out a DVD like "End Of An Era" so i can practice with her....
