To save you some trouble, the panel on the ceiling where the Sword Familiar Card is located is toward the left side of the hall, and the tile is different [longer] than the others. Just hit it with the axe. No need for spastic spell casting.

@ChaosSwissRoll Face the right now hold X then in a continuous sweep press; up, up+left, left, left+down, down, down+right, right, now let go of X. I'm not sure if it matter's, but just in case make sure that jump is set to X. Once you pull this off, then you should try it mirrored to the left and also try doing it over and over (b4 you revert) for a continuous wing smash (you won't revert to Alucard till you hit a wall or run out of mana).

@avdxm32 Yea, you are right, its called the Crissegream or something similar to that (Valmanway in the Japanese version) They have quite weak power but attack 5 times a second

@avdxm32 nah the one you think of is the vorpal sword and it's slower only 3 times well the Crissegream is 4 time's attack. and is stonger by like 10-15 %. also if you use the ring of aires your power will go to like 100 averadge.

its the wing dash, hold X, do *up, up-left, left, left-down, down, down-right, right* then release X. It sounds complicated but when you do it enough you can do the dash nice and fast.

yeah, all you need to do is jump and hit that area with just about any sword, and it'll open. then level up tha sword familiar to make it look cooler and hill be more powerful. later you'll be able to use the sword familiar as an actual equiptable sword. in the saturn version the sword card is available on the right side of the area with those valhalla knights, putting the green pixie card in place of where this guy just found the sword card... fyi

oh yeah, those spells can be fun but hard. i found them all out by accident, even the spells dracula uses, the one with the 2 big balls, and the one with the 3 little fires. and he does the whole thing, teleports, opens his cape like that in a pillar of light. its fun, but that one really doesnt help you beat anything.

you dont acquire the spell anywhere, you simply press the right buttons and you cast it. it uses mp, that blue bar that you use when you shapeshift.

It's still in Olrox's Quarters. It's just somewhere else. Basically, it's in one of the rooms/hallways to the right of that big open area in Olrox's Quarters. Instead of the sword card, there's a fairy card (different from the other one)

its actually Left, Right, Down Right, Down, Down Left, Left, Right, Attack. this makes it hard to pull off on demand and if you using the analog stick its very easy to miscast another spell.

you sure thats not the sword brothers spell? i know what you mean about miscasting spells i even do it on the d-pad sometimes i'd be trying to do some spell and i'd end up casting dark metamorphisis, quite annoying

nope sword brothers is when you slide from down to up, hold up, down. then attack. but ya i like the street fighter way to casting spells but the combos are so complex i usually just end up casting them all after i beat the green orb just for the completion aspect.  i would however love to see a mugen (i assume you know what that is) alucard sprite.

oh yeah now i remember, isnt the mugen scene kind of dying out nowadays? back when i was using it finding sprites wasnt easy so i'd imagine it would be even more difficult now
