  • prasana will definitely save her ... To know about him and about his plan join THE HUMANITY (siragukal) group in facebook

  • she has just completed 12 years of fasting!!

    God save her!

  • fuck of india,,, india is a worst country in the world

  • I think she is not against Armed forces or The Government but against the social injustice in Manipur. However she should show the protest by punishing her body and endangering her life. I think she may do it by an alternative way

  • i don't know why the central government always do injustice to south and east indians.

  • God works in mysterious ways. Sent the Indian Army to force feed Irom, so she is still alive!!

  • salute a real hero.

  • lets have a country wide protest like we had for ramdev this has to be spread!!!!!!!!!

  • i feel shame on India and the great Indian medias

  • feel ashamed to be an Indian sometimes when I see other indians suffering at the hands of indians. Dont worry irom you not alone in this fight. Support from delhi :)

  • no political morons will look into this matter.... !

  • Ghastly BASTARDS… if they are so ignorant and incapable of governing it… then atleast give them their independence.

  • the bloody govrmnt always blind

  • It is a shame to have a government which is not bothered about a human being's life; who is sacrificing her life for the betterment of the people. Sheer disgrace. Hope things change soon. It just a hope. Bows down for Sharmila.

  • WE HAVE DISCUSSED ENOUGH DURING LAST 10 yrs.

And normal people of MANIPUR are suffering during last 6 decades.

Manipur, as the state of INDIA, deserves it's nominal HUMAN RIGHTS.

here main subject is disputes of AFSPA 1958.

report of Justice B P Jeevan Reddy, former judge of the Supreme Court. was not been applied

  • This video is a clear cut attempt to malign the armed forces and thus make the presence of The Indian govt weaker in that area of the country so that those evil-minded people are able to break it apart. This lady shown in the video looks to me as just a pawn of theirs to generate sympathy

  • @83nishant what r u made of! r u really a human?? before u comment, plz do some research! illiteracy is nt bliss!

  • The Indian Government is a fuck-up and has always ignored the north-east !

But I as a Indian citizen am proud of the North-eastern culture we have , they are most civilized and i respect them. Its sad to see their state of despair and i agree if i were in their shoes i'd think the same.

I hope all gets sorted out, peacefully !

  • we want....... peace... sharmilaaaa u r great. we all wit u n may ur dreams come trueee

  • We are with you Sharmila......We r supporting u.....

  • This may be just a wild guess, but might this conflict have something to do with the Manipuris looking more like Burmese, Thai or perhaps Hmong than Indian?

  • my god when my tamil brothers died in srilanka no one cared..............same thing is happening to my northeast brothers............hats off to u irom sharmila.........

  • Fuck the Indian government. they kill innocents wantonly, as they did in sri lanka.

  • Indian government is not Indian. They oppress the freedom fighters like the British oppressed gandhi. Get the Western political parties out!

  • I would like to know some of the history of this situation. I mean is the army presence to keep the communist Chinese or Muslim faction from infiltrating and taking over the country as was done by the Chinese who easily invaded and overtook the country of Tibet?

I understand that armed force members get out of hand and can abuse their position of power....but why exactly are they there in the first place? Is it to prevent a foreign takeover such as how China overtook an unprepared Tibet?

  • fuck AFSPA and all the corrupted insurgents who tag themselves as liberation army ,for selling my homeland for their greed and incompetency!! if it was for free manipur why rnt we yet free, why r we still suffering, come out of the woods and stop pretending you doing any good for manipur or just give up n live in peace, we the new generation have our own plans for a better manipur give us a chance! arent you RICH enough yet sucking the blood of our fathers and mothers you heartless bastards!!??

  • Indian army is creating ..terrorist by such act...

  • i believe a radical response to a volatile situation like manipur is sheer foolishness....AFSPA is ethically and morally wrong at moment i agree.....bt sudden removal of the act will just as wrong.....what actually needs to be done is firstly the act should be amended....secondly with passage of time...it should be completely removed....i must also praise sharmila, she is commendable....

  • @herbicandy

how do you define a 'volatile situation'?

please ensure that your definition is restricted not only with manipur......

  • hmmmmm

  • Good. Thanks for the reminder.

  • AFSPA is barbaric and undemocratic, no doubt. But in terrorism there is nothing like a better terrorism or a worse terrorism. All sorts of terrorism is injurious to humanity and we must resist it.

  • @rineeztvm

reminder: there are no terrorists groups operating in manipur except the army, paramilitary forces and manipuri police commandos.

  • whether i comment or not the truth will remain truth my friend.

Are you saying that you will let them do anything to you just because they are born around in same area.

  • @rineeztvm

yes, the truth will remain as truth and will always come out in the open no matter how much you try to cover it.

no, what i am saying is we will not let them (indian army, paramilitary forces and police and any other machineries) do anything as they please.

  • @wathijugai2 Right. don't let them.. but don't let these terrorists too.

Don't u see fights like Irom Sharmila's is many times more powerful and effective than those people with guns?

  • @rineeztvm

    are u serious? hahaha

we don't have any terrorist in manipur except for the indian army and paramilitary forces and manipur police/commandos

  • @wathijugai2 yes i am serious, but i wish what u just said was true.

  • Comment removed

  • @rineeztvm

    yes, it's true.

there is nothing more terroristic and brutal than AFSPA

there are no terrorists worse than those who believe and practice this barbaric ACT.

    any more doubts?

  • they should retreat and leave manipur in peace

  • May all North eastern states successfully secede from India!! Gay hind. I am from Manipur and i do not appreciate the AFSPA and other unequal laws that are in effect in much of the " North East." We did not ask to join India when your masters the British left. You did not conquer us, the British drew maps and it was our misfortune that we had to be included in this undemocratic country that claims to be secular but isn't. Fuck the brit map makers, fuck the cow worshipping dot Indians.

  • Isn't anyone thinking what makes these people hate the forces that are meant to protect them?

This happens, when someone is given lot of power without the training to use it properly. With great power comes great responsibility. If our govt had cared to ensure the armed forces keep dignity for that greater responsibility, these people will be shouting "Zindabad" for Indian army today instead of "Go back"

  • @rineeztvm too simplistic, look at any army in the world countering insurgency, they all have their corrupt elements whether it is India, Britian, USA, China it does not mattter. What is important is to try and eradicate the bad elements and not make excuses. India has to accpet that sometimes its army personel do corrupt things ans instead of disregarding it, it needs to own up and deal with those people.

  • @kumarsa108 So right. But with acts like AFSPA out there it is only increasing the risk of bad outcomes from currupt elements.

  • @rineeztvm Indeed

  • @rineeztvm

are u serious? AFSPA is itself a corrupt element. u urself too.

  • @wathijugai2 I really don't know whether I am corrupt too, i just hope i'm not.

I don't know better about the true situation in these places.. All I can speak is from what is within my knowledge. And as far as I see the civilians in these places are being tortured equally by both army and liberation forces.

The real problem is lack of mental discipline in some parts of the army.

The liberation forces are also corrupt and they are after money and power rather than any liberty.

  • @rineeztvm

when u can't reign in ur indian army and paramilary forces and their brutal activities, i believe u don't have the moral authority to comment on the 'liberation forces' who are manipuris when indian army and paramilitary forces are not.

u just can't simply come to our land and try to be judgemental.

as i wud repeat, u are free to opine. however, u don't have a choice for being judgemental. peace

  • Terrorists in Nagaland and manipur?/

  • ya this are all propagandas..........this is not indian army and the actual situation in manipur

  • @sreekanth1932 : u r a perfect example of ignorance and cynicism and hatred. all u want to see is manipur bleed. we will not allow u and i will fight you till my last blood

  • Shame on india & the Democrazy.!.

Indian is in strike in Gandhian style, but the voice goes to deaf years..!

What is the need of an act which is not applied even in Kashmir?

People of north east considered as Indians????

It is already too late to act.......................

  • fuckin terrorist/separatist scum.. all of them should be shattered like the weak glass they are.. go Indian army!

    JAI HIND!

    FUCK muslims/christian untouchables..

  • FUK U INDIAN COWARDS,,,,,,GO FIGHT WID UR OWN SIZE......ASSHOLES....MENWHORES

  • @famous! To save us from whom? Go get a life u fcking indian coward. D world knws tht indians re coward. Fck off! Let us live in peace!

  • manipur is an integral part of india and removal of the act will only worsen the situation.....and talking about indian army...its the same army that have fougt wars against pak and china just to save u.....if the act is removed only the naxals willl benift frm it....and about sharmilla why didnt she jump of the mountain rather than going on fast....

  • @famousdash lol! why don't u just leave us in peace! none of us invited u

  • @wathijugai2 we r not leaving u unless and untill these naxalite are thrown out

  • @famousdash Wathijugai speaks from his anus, he does not represent anyone except a small group of racist meities with twisted views. This woman is many levels above the the idiot and what she is doing is just. There is no excuse for persecuting innocent people.

  • @kumarsa108 yeah you are right.....

  • @kumarsa108 you seem to be a frustrated tibetan buddhist or a tibetan refugee.

i may speak from my anus, but i wud love to screw ur ar$ehole with my 9inch nail.

lol! be a refugee and concentrate in ur own area. no need to be a online tiger.

  • @wathijugai2 why are you even commenting? other than proving that you are clueless. Oh and while you wont get crucified for being a homosexual it is not looked upon fondly by the general Christian leadership especially not those Baptists in yout neck of the woods. Lastly 9 inches on a Meitei? Now that is funny. Ofcourse typically Indian exaggeration.

  • @kumarsa108 lol! u know why most of tibetan refugees are monks? coz' they have tiny penis. m just wondering why you are even discussing manipur when u know least. isn't AFSPA another 'indian exaggeration' as well?

hehehe! u again got me wrong, m a protestant but not necessarily a baptist. u keep on assuming. but tibetan refugess suck big time and big kok!

  • @wathijugai2 Baptists are Protestants muppet.

  • @kumarsa108 yes! i know better than u do when it comes to my religion which is Christianity. and yes, all Baptists are Protestants, but every Protestant is not a Baptist.

what do u know about this you tibetan refugee with a devilish and barbaric mindset? ;) now get lost and don't patronize manipur or india. go back to ur own.

  • @wathijugai2 clearly you have not got the slightest clue about the basic tenets of Christianity. No practising Christian would behave like you do.

  • Comment removed

  • @kumarsa108 lol! u r at it again. please! m so irritated by ur insane comments.

    please go away..... shooooooooo

    lol

  • @wathijugai2 Im at it again? you are the midget who interfeared on here. Caught with your pants down and all 9mm of embaressment, you have nothing to say for yourself. psuedochristian and all.

  • @kumarsa108 yawnnnn! get lost

  • @famousdash lol! i u don't go away, we will have to kick u out. a respectable exit is always good for u cow worshipping morons.

  • @wathijugai2 ask urself...are these maosists better than army??

  • dis isnt indian army if it is den y is their face hidden????????????

  • Free the Northeast!

  • @saigonpunkid from?

    Free Inner Mongolia

    Free Xinjiang

you are one idiot who has nothing good about him but mindless hate towards all other people.

  • We got the point, feel free!

  • We got yr point! please feel free!

  • just a short response to amiccki's invitation to come not as a tourist but to stay and learn, I presume they know if they live in Manipur that it is a restricted area so foreigners may not enter directly. I have a visa for India but it excludes restricted areas. There is a way of applying to visit a restricted area but then I may enter only grouped with other foreigners accompanied by a guide (travel agent will do) and for a limited time. Restrictions still apply when you have a visa to enter.

  • However if such a visa to come and stay to learn and not just be a tourist or watch videos from afar can be arranged I should gladly accept I could spare a year in the first instance.

  • wow... hay mucho por hacer...

  • Although I am an Indian I feel ashamed by this inhuman act passed by the central government and in my view no government should consider imposing inhumane laws on people let them be of any country, race, religion or color.

  • Armed forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) starts a vicious cycle, which has been instituted in the North East. The use of the AFSPA pushes the demand for more autonomy, giving the peoples of the North East more reason to want to secede from a state, which enacts such powers, and the agitation, which ensues, continues to justify the use of the AFSPA from the point of view of the Indian Government

  • Slowly the North East would merge with china and then India government would come back to the people and lost our territory, shame on Indian government and its crooked politicians. Indian Government should talk with people at ground level and try to solve their problem in every way.

  • Section 4 of AFSPA says:

Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act, 1958:

Special powers of the armed forces any commissioned officer, warrant officer, non-commissioned officer or any other person of equivalent rank in the armed forces may, in a disturbed area

  • (a) If he is of opinion that it is necessary so to do for the maintenance of public order, after givin such due warnin as he may consider necessary fire upon or otherwise use force, even to the causin of death, against any person who is actin in contravention of any law or order for the time being in force in the disturbed area prohibitin the assembly of five or more persons or the carryin of weapons or of things capable of bein used as weapons or of firearms, ammunition or explosive substances.

  • (b) If he is of opinion that it is necessary so to do, destroy any arms dump, prepared or fortified positions or shelter from which armed attacks are made or are likely to be made or are attempted to be made, or any structure used as training camp for armed volunteers or utilised as a hideout by armed gangs or absconders wanted for any offence.

  • (c) Arrest, without warrant any person who has committed a cognisable offence or against whom a reasonable suspicion exists that he has committed or is about to commit a cognisable offence and may use such force as may be necessary to effect the arrest.

  • (d) Enter and search without warrant any premises to make any such arrest as aforesaid or to recover any person believed to be wrongfully restrained or confined or any property reasonably suspected to be stolen property or any arms, ammunition or explosive substances believed to be unlawfully kept in such premises, and may for that purpose use such force as may be necessary.

  • Every state of INDIA 'ld have AFSPA

    fuckin Indian Govt.

People r n't goin to stay calm

State Police Commandos of Manipur, Paramilitary Security Forces and Armed Forces of the Central Government SUCS.....

  • I am from Taiwan I thought British Empire has left India a long time ago. Ha! My Ass!

  • The whole week has been a painful reminder of the suffering of various innocent souls. I just wanted to share A genuine tribute to ECHE SHARMILA :

PHIR BHI MUJHE GHUTAN SI HAI

Indira ne desh ko gaurav diya,

To Teresa ne shanti ka sandesh,

    Tatha Sarojini ne sahash-gan;

Phir bhi mujhe ghutan si hain!

    Kyon'ki -

Hamari Sharmila anjar-panjar mein nau saal se bhukhi hai,

    To Elizabeth ki nanhi-siskiyan aaj bhi gunj'ti hai;

Aur Manorama ki dabi-dabi si kamosh-chinkhein chikhti khal'ti hai.

  • wat india doin ter s gud fr 1 reason....nd hav some side effects tooo...as per my opinion strict shud b ter ....but wat those armd police wer doin s wrong, shootin close to 1 hu cought,.....ter can b more better way to deal wth......ths s littl brutal....wich shud b keep to a minimum...otherwise those peopl wont learn to get calm,......ths may awoke tem fr more harmfull protests....

  • to all the concerned you have seen only one half of the story. You haven't see the brutility of the evil terrorist, will someone please so that too, you haven't seen how non manipuri are being killed in Manipur, how their hard earned money is being forcefully taken away from will kavita joshi ever show that.

  • Thanks for posting this. And thanks to Kavita for making this short but effective film. Stories like this need to be told and heard... Bravo!

    Let's fight with Irom Sharmila!!

  • This is really sad. The vast majority of meities are devout Vaishnavite Hindus or followers of Sanamahi. The insurgency is down to a few hundred armed people not the 2 million people who make up this land. Brutual laws will not win this situation.

  • my dear fren please stop talking abt the issue it really difference watching a film in figuring it out if u really want to know the place come n stay lik a common man not as a tourist den u'll know it for sure....dnt talk abt maosist or whatever ULFA is based at assam not manipur...dnt read paper come and see it yourself....

  • Comment removed

  • its not the indian army....its propaganda flushed into the mind of people, people who jus watch the video n make there minds that indian army is doing wrong....i understand that what ever is happnin there is wrong...it was he

  • this is fucked up.......i love the indian army...but this is not the army i had in mind

  • The Northeast states should call for Burma for military help.

  • Why?!

What does NE India share with Burma??

And why do you want then to do that??

  • India should be condemned for violating human rights.

Northeast people should seek international help.

  • say it again and you would have to eat from your other end

  • wat? manipur isn't part of india or wat its indian govt.duty?

  • go back indian army!!!!!
