Xavi is a top player, no question..but Paul Scholes, at his peak, was better...fanntastic awareness, unreal shot, brilliant first touch and football brain...outrageous passing range and vision too..now Xavi is good but when people like Zidane and Vieria say Scholes is the best they have played against, it can`t be ignored...not only that but Marcello Lippi said that Paul Scholes would be in his world World XI, so that gives credance to the fact that this guy is pure magic, in my opinion the best

I knew early on that Scholsey was a special player....I have loads of favourite players from down tha years like Giggs,Beckham,Best,Keane,Charlton, Cantona etc...but I always come 2 the conclusion that Scholsey is my favourite of the lot!!!
