This is my favorite version of the song. The drums are juxtaposed to the vocals, but at the same time highlight them in the way that they are placed. Perfect I love it!

not usually my style , but something about the sesame street drum roll makes me listen again and again, the way it descends from ear to ear like a landslide across the otherwise monotone, like a cheerful avalanche wiping out an entire way of life and leaving a blank slate behind waiting to be filled with anything

The drums work for me, pose a good counterpoint to a pretty subdued vocal. straight bossa drums would chill it too much...

overall, good remix. sounds 1000x better than the original, which is pretty good. my only issues are the drums. the focus really needs to be on the singer and treble backgrounds. the drums sound boxed, and they are for the wrong style, more like disco. they are also too busy. for this to be perfect, you just need a light bossa nova rhythm with brushes instead of sticks.

@umbramaster Yeah, I agree about the drums on this remix. They seem totally out of place with the rest of the track; far too busy with those massive drum rolls (albeit good rolls). Otherwise, I rather like this remix; it has some lovely elements.

i think this song is great , you can't really compare it to the original though cause there so different , i think there both great , this one always seems more tragic to me though.
