  • Thank you! I've had only the melody in my head, but now I've found this song. Thank you very much for this video. I love this song.

  • Beautiful as a gentle stroll through a plush, fragrant floral scrolled ravine

With a wisp of the wind moving your hair

You look at me with those kind eyes

With the earth's essences exhilerating our senses

When the sun graces the sky with it's orange tender kiss

    All I feel is love

  • Or a stroll down by the sewage treatment plant, with a gentle breeze mixing the sewage gases with the smoke from the nearby coal-burning power plant! ;) Just kidding... Your post was so darn sappy, I had to make fun of it...

  • Walso99-Hilarious : )

SAPPY as hell, I love yours!

  • When this song first came out, the radio overplayed it to the point where I started to dislike it. Since then, an occasional listen returns the fondness for the tune.

  • It was with your father.

  • i totally love this song, i first heard it in the film 'Overnight Delivery' it's also sung by Matthew Sweet in the film but i can't find it anywhere. can anyone help out?

  • The first time I heard this song I was five and was having sex with my babysitter who was 16 I think.

  • The original video was posted and than removed again...that's why i made this clip...i still don't understand, why people keep removing the originals...the record companies should be glad that the music is appreciated this way!

  • They should.

Too bad dollar signs clogs their eye sight.

  • @Blijd That's because the record companies today are run by kids whose parents never took the time to expose them to good music!!!!!

  • I dug this is high school.

  • I AGREE IT IS THE BEST SONG,THANKS

  • I've got the real video performing even it was in the walter egan's web page and youtube but it was removed from youtube

  • my favorite song of all time! sensual and romantic,it was going to be my wedding song but alas...

  • this song is one of the best. It's so simple lyrically, but it still rocks!! thanks for posting this video.

    Great song!!

  • amen brother.wish we could get back.

  • esplendida muy buena, una de las mejores caciones romanticas de todos los tiempos

  • Type in fleetwood Mac for this song as they did this song a few years earlier when he was with the band.

  • Heh, was that Reese Witherspoon movie the one with Paul Rudd in it? they have been playing it constantly on Comedy Central.

  • thanx U all!!!

  • Oh, my God! I just now heard this in a Reese Witherspoon movie and wondered if someone finally got around to uploading this great tune and it's high quality audio, too! Many, many thanks! Now if I could just find Frankie and the Knockouts "sweetheart" that would be perfect.

  • I have also been waiting for Frankie and the Knockouts. I had the cassette back in the early 80's but it has long since worn out. I would also love to be able to hear Tattoo by Novo Combo.

  • Where is an actual video of him performing this?

  • Probably removed for copyright violations :(

  • I remember, it was 1978 and I fell in love... and with this song too! Thanks for the memories Blijd

  • dido :)

  • Stevie Nicks is singing background if you listen closely.

  • Reminds me of Boogie nights...

  • Funny...this song also reminds me of the summer of 1978 just before I went into high school. There was a video of this songe posted on here a while back. What happened to it?

  • I'm also 38... We need to talk to Walter about this.

Great tune and recording of course, it brings me back to being in Maui (summer of 1978) on vacation with my parents, I guess I was about 10 years old, it was on the radio constantly. I had the great honor of meeting Walter in a small local venue last year. He is still perfoming in the Nashville area and sounding great...

  • I was around 10 years of age when this was first released. Now that I am 40, honesty compels me to say that it is one of my favorite songs.

  • Dr. R???

  • Yes, Dr. Rockwell, I really appreciate the post.

    Have a very pleasant day : )

  • Cool song, I always wondered what it was. xD This dude was my substitute math teacher.

  • One of the greatest songs of all the times...excellent

  • Thank you for posting this classic - Dr. R

  • This song rocks! It is simple in its arrangement and vocals and not over produced. I'm an 80's and 90's kid but love music from the swing era to the early 90's. Listening to the beat and delivery of the lines makes this song seductive and makes one think of that special someone.

  • Man, this song makes me long for the 70's. This song is a classic.
