dude, that other guy's instrument is so ridiculously huge, haha, I've never seen a...bass balalaika?...before. Don't like this "folksy" version half as much as the one in the movie though.

Wow. I am trying to learn this on the balalaika. Does anyone have any tabs or sheet music written for this piece? The problem i have is what fret I should place my thumb on. The placement I have been using does not sound good for this song on tremolo.

This is the original Russian Balalaika that was shown in the movie.
This music was written for this instrument.
As you see it's been played on this instrument.
I don't see anything weird about it. I guess just something new for some people.
Hope you still enjoyed it.

I did enjoy it a lot! I didn't mean "weird" in a bad way - the whole picture just seems very odd to me, with the glittery outfits and what appeared to be the same instrument in two totally different sizes... Like I said, it was cool :)
