Thanks for posting this! I never heard this one and since I'm Bobby's biggest fan I thought I heard everything by him, now I can say I have. Thankyou so much, Peace, Love, and Bobby Sherman!
Sorry for all the posting and removing. I had some errors and thought the postings were not appearing. Bobby Sherman is one of my all time favorite performers.
Bobby continues to be The Unsung Hero of late 60's and early 70's music. I wore out the 45 when I was a kid. AM Radio carried this song into The Twilight Zone
I used to play this in the car mostly from the long gone KCLU AM-FM Rolla Mo.
Thank you SO much for posting these Bobby Sherman songs. I had been looking for them for so long. :) By the way, would you happen to also have some clips from the "Getting Together" show to go along with some of these songs?
Oh, yes, I love it. :) Do you have other songs from "Getting Together"? There is one in particular I have been searching for, for a long time now. I could never catch the exact words, he just sang it in such a funny way. It sounded something like, "??? You leave it behind. One step in your social life. / A change in your pace, a change in your face, it's the..." Do you know the one I am talking about? It was one of the songs he sang on Getting Together. Thanks once again. :)
No, I don't know the song, but I have to admit that I never saw his tv show as it aired before I was born. I have read about it though, and I know the little girl's name in it was Jennifer, hence why he recorded some songs with the name Jennifer in them at the time.
Sorry for the delayed response. Yes, the litle girl's name was Jennifer, and she was the sister of Bobby Sherman's character. It was a nice show, but it didn't last too long. Please, let me know if you ever get a hold of those video clips AND/OR an audio of that song. I think it was a song he sang for the kids, probably to cheer up his sister. I don't remember exactly because I was too young myself, and saw only the reruns.
This was the first single I bought. I was about 8.

This was the first LP I ever got - as a present on my 9th bday in 1973? I still remeber all the lyrics! Can you post more from this vinyl? Please!

This was a huge one for me as far as playing on the old turn table.
