  • Beautifully done, music is perfect.

  • I love this video, I want to be this strong! do you just hold stretches and for how long? because in dance we force them a bit more.

  • Thank you, dancing gymnast. You might consider trying ashtanga yoga. I've heard from several dancers that yoga helps them avoid injury. Ashtanga, in particular, increases upper body strength with vinyasas, and arm balances.

  • Absolutely beautiful surya B. The press up to handstand and back down again looks effortless and hides the immense difficulty involved. (YouTube has lots of really strong people struggling to learn that move). Minimal quibble - the Moonlight Sonata is lovely but just does not seem to match the visual effects. Hope you will post more!

  • Thank you, Mark. Sorry for the much delayed response, but I did want to share with you that floating in general (in the ashtanga practice) and lifting into handstand in particular, have more to do with technique and bio-mechanics than conventional strength. Some tips for lifting into handstand with straight legs: come up on the inhale, broaden the shoulders, and arch your back so as to shift more of the body weight forward past your vertical centerline. Cheers, Alicia

  • Love the medley video, and this one too.

Also great content on Eureka's yoga website.

Will be looking foward to other videos about the practice
