If you're seriously underwater your best bet is to consult a lawyer, then stop paying your mortgage. Live rent free for a year or more until you get an eviction notice (that's how long it takes by me). SAVE that money in a safety deposit box or large safe. Then go rent a house for 2-3 years, keep saving your money (hopefully you'll still have your job). Then buy a house 3-4 years from now at the current market value which will be 15-25% lower than today's home values!
you're a moron. i work for a bank that does modifications and i talk to crooks like your company all day. you're losers trying to steal from these people. you prey on the people that are confused. you can get a mod if your payment isn't already 31% or less of your gross income. that higher payment that lady received was a payment plan not a modification. she was obviously to fucking stupid to understand what was sent to her and you jumped in and lied to her and preyed on her and fucked her over.
Ameritards cannot even take responsibility for their own financial mistakes, Big Brother will come in and save them. You buy a house that puts a big strain on your monthly budget, then, you go out and buy a bunch of junk with a credit card, then, you get a heloc so you can go out and buy more junk. Why has this society lost all discipline, because they can rely on Big Brother to bail them out.
In response to the last e-mail you don't need "legal paperwork" to stop a sale date. The only thing you have to do is send in all the documents your lender is requesting from you. Once they have all of this they will postpone the sale date until they have an answer.
I was scheduled to lose my home to the foreclosure auction in 30 days.
I used two legal letters I got from a financial advisor's ebook that was only ($197). The letters worked! I still have my home and that was three years ago!!
You don't need to pay anyone $3,000 to do this for you!
That's great! Now I have an option that only costs $97 and it is helping families across the nation, so you are correct, you don't have to pay $3000 anymore. 97 diy loan mod kit * com
dont even talk about lowering PRINCIPAL!that's what it's called principal! not mortgage! I have a attorney and guess what ...they cant nor claim to lower principal! and neither should you!!!3,ooo $ another preditator!! just like the lenders that put us in to this mess to begin with!! $3,ooo get off the pipe!
I'm sorry you've had bad experiences in the past, but the people that I have helped stay in their homes, and my own personal experience, show other wise. I think about every thing I say before I say it. I have a good reputation and want to keep it. I back up everything I say. Good luck with your attorney I wish you beneficial results!
this is a scam, she is just trying to make her own mortgage payment. i work for one of the largest mortgage holders and i do this everyday and unfortunately we CANNOT mod all loans. some people just don't get it. especially in CA FL NV and AZ. you just can afford those huge payments anymore. the house you bought was way overvalued to begin with and now it's coming down to where it SHOULD be in all reality. these loan mod co's can't do anything YOU can't do yourself i give them the same answer.
I am pretty sure the over 3000 homeowners we have helped would disagree with you. Right now is a PRIME TIME for lenders to modify mortgages. The government, in the newly released details on March 4th, is paying lenders incentives to modify mortgages. It is not a scam, they modified my mortgage from 8% to 2% so it can be and is done daily.
Mortgage holders are the problem, they are the ones not willing to work with individuals, forcing them to have to get attorney assistance. Thanks !
I think it is time for everyone who can't afford their homes, to just walk away. Let the banks have them back. Cut your losses and file bankruptcy. You will recover with time. But this will cut back on your stress level.
Most of these loan modification people are a scam. There is this company called U.S. Justice foreclosure help. They had commercials all over the place. There lead attorney was all over the channel 8 news in Las Vegas, not once but several times. Now his office is closed and he is under investigation for fraud. After taking several thousand from several people. His name is Jack Ferm and come to find out, he isn't even an attorney.
Yes there are fraudulent people but I'm the real thing, and if you need a loan modification feel free to call me. I'd love to tell you about our company. I have clients across the nation, and with your loan modification you get a Forensic Loan Audit. The company has been in business for 2 years and so far this year we have helped over 3000 people save their homes or improve their current mortgage terms.
Why would anyone pay for a loan modification when Obama just passed a bill making it easier for lenders to work it out. Also, every loan modification company claims they have so many customer's who's loans have been modified. They tell you this right before they try to charge up front fees. Talk about taking advantage of the struggling homeowner. What a ripoff.
I'm sorry you have had bad experiences in the past, but 85% of my clients have come to me because their lenders won't work with them, and they are fully satisfied with my services. Also Obama's plan only helps 9 million homeowners and more than 15 million are "underwater." So the other 6 million will need help. There are guidelines to his program that many homeowners will not fall under and will need my assistance. Again I invite you to call me and we can discuss it.
Come on now. Be honest with people. You or no one else can guarantee 100% that you can modify the loan. It is up to the lender to do this willingly and they don' t have to work with you. A lot of lenders wont. You just want people's money because you are like anyone else out there trying to get paid off the backs of the struggling homeowner.
I am honest! My company does a complete Forensic Loan Audit and points out fraud, if any, every violation of TIL Laws and RESPA guidelines and uses their findings against the lender. Rather than pay $10K PER violation the lender agrees to modify the mortgage. If a modification cannot be negotiated all money is refunded. Are you ready to call me now?
You have got to be crazy. They just shut down the U.S. Justice Foundation who was trying to do the same thing as you are. He took thousands of dollars claiming he could do the same thing and the law found out he wasn't even a licensed attorney. No thank you.
Well my company has been in business for 2 years, all the attorney licenses are valid and we are in compliance in all 50 states. There's bad and good apples in every batch, the same with business. We are here to help homeowners and I help them every day.
