Much like any sport like baseball, football, golf, etc. I know a small group of guys who run a small business playing warcraft, I know it is very sad but they sell high level characters to people for between 800 and 1500 dollars. They sell a few a week so they make good money doing it. I've played a few games on MLG. Gears, COD, and halo. It's fun. It's also nice to play with people who don't cheat or exploit games.
i dont think video games are a waste of time as long as you try to be the best at it and if you go pro its definiatley bot a waste....but you gotta do other things as well in life

You do many things like quests and you can do raids when you get up into your 65-80 lvls. It doesnt really get to fun until you hit around level 10. It is really fun to play. I mean some people take it to far but it is a good time killer.

Once I heard of City of Heroes I decided to try it. My parents knew I was addicted, because I would stay on for hours. I made friends, I had fun, I was cool. This is true, WoW is not a game it's an alternate reality where losers can become popular, social, successful, rich, good looking etc. It's very sad all WoW addicts have given up on real life. If they spent the same time working on their life they spent on WoW they could have a fantastic life. This is true, WoW is not a game it's an alternate reality where losers can become popular, social, successful, rich, good looking etc. It's very sad all WoW addicts have given up on real life. If they spent the same time working on their life they spent on WoW they could have a fantastic life. I played WoW for about 4 months but I had to delete it I was sick of all the losers on there, my GM and his girlfriend had a baby, no job and played WoW 24/7 they didn't even take care of the baby.

Ehhh.. why should I? He has reached a state of mind where he can totally focus on the World of Warcraft. That gives him more time to help the society in game. So? Is getting laid your highest intention of life? World of Warcraft is as I said, a much higher meaning of life. This is his passion, and respect it. If your passion (for some reason) is just all about getting laid, then I respect that too, even if WoW is the real meaning to life. And besides, you could see that he had a lot of girls in-game. So no problemo there.

Playing MMORPG online games is great, I play WAR myself. But playing them all day everyday and not hanging out with friends with family is quite sad. I do play alot myself but I never turn down going out when theres a big event or seeing my family etc.
