But anyway, my personal experience with bio moms on drugs is that stripping them of their rights is the best way to deal with it. That's crazy and since when in this country do people lose their parental rights because of their former occupations? I read that all the surprise court ordered drug tests were clean for her, so it's really Jessie who should be tested for everything. He's lied to the court about the state of his marriage, which is probably the tip of the iceberg. Court: rule for the real mom.

@Lucille7777 It's not necessarily her former occupation, although that doesnt help. It's mostly the drug use. Who knows how long she's been clean. I don't see any reports on the last date of a clean drug test. Or the last time she's been drug tested. Sometimes, the only thing to do with drug addicts is strip them of their parental rights. If the mother could somehow manage to do drugs in private and not affect the child (is that possible?) I guess I would say she doesn't need to lose her rights.

@LG15Fan Janine lost custody because she was in jail for tax evasion and Jessie and Sandra asked the court to make her 6 month sentence longer (they didn't), which led Janine to believe they set the IRS on her in the first place, yet Janine still gives Sandra credit for being a good caregiver to her daughter. People with checkered pasts raise their own kids just fine and if it wasn't for Sandra, Jessie is hardly fit for sure. This woman's parental rights should not be taken from her.

But anyway, my personal experience with bio moms on drugs is that stripping them of their rights is the best way to deal with it. Otherwise you are stuck letting the kid go for her visit when the mother is all doped up. If you strip them of their rights, visitation can continue as normal...unless you are doped up, then you have the right to say no and not get dragged into court.

Jessie has a longer drug past the Janine but is he being similarly drug tested? I doubt it, yet when he's with his mistresses do you think he's not doing drugs with them? C'mon. Sandra wants Janine's child for herself, and If permitted to adopt her, Janine would never see her kid again.
