actually... it's not impossible... it's just props they use... if you observe carefully, the top of the female was bulging and "grew" thinner as more and more outfits were "changed". whereas the dress "grew" longer by the end of the performance...

all she did was to release her top and let it drop down to act as the new skirt...

At 0:56 you can plainly see the magician struggling somewhat at hooking the assistant's dress to the device - he does a piss poor job of hiding it. And, on the very last trick, the assistant does a terrible job of hiding herself setting her hands to grab the release mechanism, and begins the release too early, so you can see her doing it before she's fully covered.

@oldjaghead Changing from brunette to blonde is as simple as taking 2 seconds to pull off a wig. The dresses are prop dresses. I'd say there's probably a total of only 3 different dresses that she wears. The first two are "breakaway" dresses - pull one clasp and the whole thing falls to the floor. The last 5 are actually just 1 trick dress. Notice how each of the last 5 gets successively longer? That's to hide the dresses underneath. ...(cont')...

In the one where she is holding in her hands the dress she intends to change into... easy. The dress in her hands is a double of the one she has on underneath. The old one is discarded with the cloth of the changing curtain (curtains and mirrors - old tricks). I can't explain the last one... yet. But the one before it - the dress is the same color and fabric as the curtain he wraps her with. Easy to discard the two together as the fabric and color are the same cut.

The trick is to watch HIS hands, not her. In the 1st one you can see HIM grab the dress she discarded in the thing she changed behind - he's grabbing too much cloth - then he discards the old dress in the blue cloth. In one you can see HIS hand pull her new dress down, which though longer than the one she had on, was tucked up under the last one. All the tricks are done this way. She has them all on in the beginning, and he gets rid of them with slight of hand... or slight of body, lol.
