Anybody that owns an SRT-4 and observes for 2 seconds will notice that the boost actually SPIKE 25psi (at best) and holds about 19 to creep down to 15 at redline just like all the stock turbos do.
On the gauge 15psi is at 3 o'clock and 0psi is at about 11 o'clock. The needle would need to peg the pin on the vac side to be at 30psi (if the gauge was the least be precise at that range)

you know nothing about boost do you? while he's idling he's in vaccum at 20VAC not 20PSI smartass. otherwise the video is fake something is wront with his Wastegate allowing the turbo beyond its limit or his gauge is fucked...also the srt-4's stock ECU will not allow the car to handle that much boost stock it will shut down...plus he only ended up holding 15 or so he's stock and busted

Umm yes a stock turbo can make 30 psi.. i dont know where you get your facts but they are wrong...i for one have done it.. and yes the stock turbo will hold 30 psi just fine. but the motor wont last.. i made a total of 6 passes at 30 psi no problems.. but have not done it since.. you gotta lose the factory boost solenoid to get 30 psi out of it.. it will spike to like 31 then drop off to 30 dont try this without the proper fuel setup.. or you will be shopping for a new motor.. just a heads up

rong, i my self had set a Kinetic Motorsports Wastegate all the way closed, it wraped the boost gauge back to the vac side. it can happen, and it held it at full throttle too. any turbo can it just becomes inefficient on that small of a turbo.

Its not for that long, and it was 30psi or more. the srt-4's boost it controlled by the pcm. Hes obviously pissing off the computer playing with the throttle to make it spike like that

it is possible to hit 30lb boost...my sitas bf took me out on a run with his ford laser tx3 turbo....and with a full car beat a suby.....it is possible wihtout fuckign yur car up just dont hold it there for long

you know nothing about boost do you? while he's idling he's in vaccum at 20VAC not 20PSI smartass. otherwise the video is fake something is wront with his Wastegate allowing the turbo beyond its limit or his gauge is fucked...also the srt-4's stock ECU will not allow the car to handle that much boost stock it will shut down...plus he only ended up holding 15 or so he's stock and busted

its not a turbo neon, theres really no neon parts on the srt-4 other than the neon body. it doesnt even say neon on the car it says SRT-4, so idk how its a joke. these cars are pretty fast stock, and cheap to make faster

my friends srt was on 28lbs stock turbo,stage 3 wasgate,intake,msd and intercooler, the problem was he couldnt get any grip from the tires at the first 3 gears but 4th that was a hell of a ride and then he total the car.....

Umm yes a stock turbo can make 30 psi.. i dont know where you get your facts but they are wrong...i for one have done it.. and yes the stock turbo will hold 30 psi just fine. but the motor wont last.. i made a total of 6 passes at 30 psi no problems.. but have not done it since.. you gotta lose the factory boost solenoid to get 30 psi out of it.. it will spike to like 31 then drop off to 30 dont try this without the proper fuel setup.. or you will be shopping for a new motor.. just a heads up

stock turbo cannot make 30PSI its been proven that 22psi spike is the max that the stock turbo can make, looks like you guys need to get rid of the horrible stock boost gauge

rong, i my self had set a Kinetic Motorsports Wastegate all the way closed, it wraped the boost gauge back to the vac side. it can happen, and it held it at full throttle too. any turbo can it just becomes inefficient on that small of a turbo.

@shockracer something just isnt right with his boost guage. If he was really making 30 psi he would be braking the tires loose and the tack would be all over the place. he is only in 3rd gear when he hits it the second time.

@v8lmao check your facts, weld or pin your wastegate closed and see were it gets you, bet it's just over 31+ psi, it will get hot as hell and will smoke the turbo if done for too long but it will boost 30+ psi. i have done it!!!

that looks like your stock boost gauge is broke it has to have a waste gate acuator on it cause boost was droping closer to red line it if it was atmospheric dump it would be way louder and wouldnt lose boost unless you had a boost leak id buy a new gauge

your a lost couse pal. put them side by side, no, they dont look the same. they are both shaped like a jelly bean sure but front and rear facias are different, side skirts, hood, door trim, head and tail lights, fog lights, mopar spoiler, 17inch wheels, dual exhaust. some people might say," nothing is the same as the neon". im sorry, i guess the roofs are the same. if you want me to break down interior, motor, suspension or whatever for you too, let me know

it is still based off a neon!Your reasons make no sense because you just telling me the difference between the trim lines between the base neon and the srt-4. That is like saying a v6 camaro and a ss camaro are totally different cars sense the engine and some exterior factors are different. There are different trim lines for each car. Example eclipse rs,gs,gs-t,gsx some have different engine and a totally different drive train but all of them are still a eclipse.
