I've spoken about fetal indications, but the life of the mother is also a reason for an abortion. Only some of these can be determined by amniocentisis, during the second trimester or later. Some of these conditions are considered "not compatible with life".

Don't pretend it's all black and white. I've spoken about fetal indications, but the life of the mother is also a reason for an abortion. If a woman doesn't want to die to give birth to a child, you may call them selfish for self-preservation, b/c you've already shown you're judgmental. I would call that abortion a life-saving procedure.

Trisomy 18, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, Sickle Cell Disease, Tay-Sachs, Anencephaly, etc.
Only some of these can be determined by amniocentisis, during the second trimester or later. Some of these conditions are considered "not compatible with life".

I've also read the bible and since you aren't a scholar on the subject or even a believer i find it amusing that you think you can tell me what is and isn't "out of context". I think what TIller did was wrong. But what that man did to him was DESPICABLE. Let alone assassinating a man, doing it at his place of worship. I wanted to stop him everyday, but not through ANOTHER murder, through reason and law. Besides that, the man who shot Tiller turned him into a martyre, and turned the Pro-Life community into a monster. He DOES NOT speak for us, and he DOES NOT have our respect. He set us back FORTY YEARS and became what he hated. A murderer, a cold blooded killer.

I don't agree with abotion but I don't believe in murder either. Having said that I can't say that Tiller will be missed at this address. I won't judge Tiller, but he willbe judged. I see posts calling people hypocrites. Tiller in my mind was the ultimate hypocrite. He was personally responsible for more than 50,000 abortions and was shot in a Chuch on A Sunday Morning. Talk about irony.

Scott Roeder (the shooter) is the first true American hero we've seen in a very long time. This man has stepped forward to sacrifice the rest of his own life to slay this beast. I can't stand that woman who said that Roeder killing Tiller in a church was "The most dispicable act ever". Decapitating a newborn baby at birth right before he opens his eyes to view the world is the most dispicable act imaginable. Scott Roeder will be rewarded in heaven for what he has done.

These people make me so sick. To that woman that said he actually saved lives... are you kidding me!!! Late term pregnancies are in the 3rd trimester (6-9 months). A baby can live outside the womb at 6 months... with some medical care, of course. That's not saving lives, that's called murdering. I'm not going to say that I'm glad Tiller died but I sure as heck am not sad about it. God is just and in the end.. the truth will come out. All I can say to fellow pro-lifers is to pray.

You're right, TIller is no saint or hero of any kind.
But, Roeder's actions helped nobody. There may even be more abortions because of what he did.
It is hard to be the bigger man/woman, but in order to gain the opposition's respect, you must be more ethical than they are.
Killing that man was a sign of desperation, ignorance, and psychological breakdown.
It was not an action to be praised, or proud of.

He also worked to save lives, I'm not sure if anyone realizes but he also helped cancer patients and patients with serious illnesses. In this country people have the right to do what they believe but religious extremists ruin it for everyone. I don't care if you're a suicide bomber or a pro-life gunman, you're still an asshole. Look at St. Mary Magdallen! She was a whore, as we would come to know, but Jesus forgave her! The only way that we can go to Jesus and have our sins forgiven is by going to a Catholic Priest and telling him our sins, and receive absolution.
