  • Ray Wylie Hubbard (born 13 November 1946 in Soper, Oklahoma)

    Ain't from Texas.

  • This video is BEST watched with volume cranked to ten and the bass turned up. It's a way of life people and some just don't understand.

    God Bless Texas

  • @Ranger4645 Because, it's in full stereo and it rocks !

  • Lubbock loves the video!!

  • Man, I love the pics you put to this music. Gave me goose bumps!

  • Come on people, don't be jealous of us Native Texans. Not everyone can be born in Texas. It is reserved for the chosen few. Texas was where I was born and Texas is where I want to be buried. No greater place on earth. God bless Texas.

  • I love Austin Texas!!! My second and real home... :)

  • I grew up in Alabama lived and traveled a lot. two days after being asigned to a command at navsta ingleside. I knew the Lone star state was HOME.

  • I love the photos! I love seeing the memories. It really makes me homesick for TX too.

  • I love the photos! I love seeing the memories.

  • Ah true country music lol. love it. Texas born and Texas proud :D

  • Actually, as that nasty slide Gurf is slingin', slick as good barbeque, intimates, I don't give a rats ass whether y'all get it or not...

  • oil lovers motherfuckers

  • I'm a native Texan and a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas (that means I have documented Texas ancestry back to before it was a state, and in my case, when it was still part of Mexico). I take pride in my home state, but I don't think it's necessary to carry on like this song does. A real Texan, like a real man, doesn't have t to put others down, unless he's insecure!

  • @longshadows I don't think you get what the song is about. The song was written about the Nashville music scene and what they have turned country music into. If you listen to George Strait and Alan Jackson song, Murder on Music row you might realize what this song is getting at.

  • @Qthematrixxxx Thank You!

  • Four people don't like Wolf Brand Chili, Lone Star Beer, Taco Cabana and Whattaburger.

    Screw them. We're from Texas.

  • @Yukon5G Whataburger!!! Oh man, my childhood... delicious flashbacks.

  • NYC and LA can go to Hell. they are half- way there anyway. I bought a one-way ticket from Michigan in 98...Texas is great

  • Gorgeous pictures, too.

  • So friggin COOL!

  • OMG i LOVE! THE RIVER WALK!

  • Down in Texas we make our own kind of music and don't want to conform to the "average". This is not toward any individual but toward the Nashville Establishment.

I'm Organichik and I approve this message.

  • @organichik

    excellent post!

  • @bcertain THANK YOU! YOU HAVE EXCELLENT TASTE! I REALLY LIKIE THE SONG AND THINK IT SHOULD BE THE STATE SONG.

  • A bit irreverent... but has great beat and full of truth! Enjoy that sound and worship at the sign of Texas optimism and CAN DO attitude! We'll makie it work! We never lose sight of "God Bless" either!

  • @christinamjp SO TRUE!

  • Oh HEll Yes!

  • this pretty much sums it up.

  • our Mr. Vaughn was the best there ever was , no truer words ever spoken .. RWH is from texas so screw you

  • @bbooz : He's from Oklahoma, but he's been here long enough, I reckon. I consider him a Texan anyway. Love his music.

  • @blannphinella ....Lighten up Frances.. ..

  • @blannphinella , before jumping to conclusions you need to understand what prompted the writing of this song. Listen to the explanation on you tube... Also, please understand it is somewhat satirical and "tongue in cheek". However, if you endorse what passes for "country music" coming out of Nashville these days, then you might not ever get it. Stick around, it could start to sink in... Pardon us the bombast and by the way, welcome to Texas. Happy trails...

  • @piknfish Hallelujah!

  • @blannphinella screw you were from texas

  • @blannphinella fuck you.

  • @blannphinella

you don't like it? I-35 North and don't stop until you are in Kansas. We don't need you!

  • @blannphinella You certainly are entitled to your opinion and native Texans respect that. This is a spece and time thing that you really have to be here, know our history and then and only then would you love us and our Spirit. I applaud every state and it's people in our Union. God Bless The United States of America, we got here as soon as we could.

  • @blannphinella We're glad you're not from here, too.

  • @blannphinella I'm glad you were born in Canada too Justin!

  • Loved the cactus !

  • Thank You! Fantastic!!!!!!
