How do 11/12 year old walk through -10 degree 10 miles?

First off the kids IT was WAY too cold, the cousin sat in the car cuz it was too cold for him to help anyone if grown parent can't walk outside his car for 10 minute through that weather how can 11 year old kids go 10 miles in it this guy should be in jail for life.

Secondly they didn't even know which way they were going as the son got lost EVEN how were they confidant?

Parents are responsible for their children. If they are negligent and their child dies, they go to jail. You can feel sorry for him, but he's still responsible for her death.

The father was an irresponsible idiot and deserves to be charged. The cousin is old enough to have known better but it was the father's responsibility.

As for the kids, who can blame them. They're KIDS, after all, and that's why they need parents to guide them and keep them from doing stupid things like walking 10 miles in the snow.

They weren't walking "in the snow".

They were on the highway. A desolate highway in Southern Idaho. There ain't shit out there.

He had a choice. Leave them in the car or get them to safety. It takes 45 minutes to walk 3 miles. How she died so quickly, I don't know but it is a tragic accident. Not a malicious act.
