Well, they're going to build a Sschlitterbahn about 5 miles from where I live. It's gonna be in this once-beautiful field by an HEB in Round Rock. The fact that they're building one already sucked (more people=more polution and trash), but the fact that their water source will be LT sucks even more. The park is said to be finshed in 2012. Seeing that LT is the only real lake (Lake Austin is just a wide river), it really pissed me off when I found out.
@xXSakuraMetalXx Thats not right here i n Houston the schlitterbahn in Galveston uses the water from the gulf,I think.But using lake water is unpredictable and unfair to LT goers. On the other hand schlitterbahn is fun ,but i have my opinions.Also,I just came from Austin and LA looked exactly like a river and when I saw it i said"huh,isn't this a lake?"

I LOVE lake Travis! Too bad the new schlittetbahn will suck it dry.
