imho winter snowfall will quickly block that fans, and it will stop producing the electricity. Beside, each of the small fan requires his own little generator which makes service of this windmill more difficult than a single-generator based VAWT.

@MegaSnork They said 8-25cm plastic propellers to ONE turbine, where did you get the idea they all had there own generator ?
I do agree this product is for summer use or southern residents no good for winter.

@MegaSnork i dont think each one has a generator, i think the idea is that they are all geared together to power a generator at the end of the line.
