the percussion instrument is mridangam(south indian percussion instrument). the rhythm instrument maybe be kanun(turkish), but i'm not sure. the style of singing is south indian classical style(carnatic). there are 2 versions of the vocals. one is in sanskrit(as played here), and the one in movie eyes wide shut is in tamil.
