I find myself thinking of all those stupid people who think children can't play with emotion because they don't have enough experience. Aimi certainly proves all of those people wrong with her intensely soulful, poetic interpretations of Chopin...And here only 8? If I were to hear this without any previous knowledge, I would think at least 12....
@destinybone It was her first performance of this Nocturne. She plays it all the time, because it's her favourite. Soon in Aimi's site will be her interview about Chopin charm where she talks about this Nocturne, It's very interesting.

A disclaimer at the top of the first page makes it clear that I have no connections with Aimi's people in Japan, apart from having had a hand in arranging a small recital for her last year. I've never seen a young child like Aimi Kobayashi put soo much emotion into this nocturne. Your a podigy Aimi!

I guess this must be one of her favorite nocturnes since she plays this at so many concerts
