@mintwithahole I'm not trying to be rude or one of those internet tough guys, you're just not holding the weapon properly. Go watch a few "how to" vidoes by Todd Jerrett, the Blackhawk Tactical pro shooter.

In the photo, the support hand or the shooters left hand in this case is cupping the grip of the weapon. Hope this helps.
