@TKanadian no the tiger talisman can make two of some one meaning their dark half and their liught half are split-a-part. And it also can keep the balancebetween the other eleven talismans when all 12 are together weather their all inside shandu or all embeded in a suit of armor it keep the balance between the other talismans so no tailsman has more or less power then the others.

I thought the tiger talisman only split jackie's yin and yang in season 1 because it was damaged. Spliting yourself into 2 people one good and one evil? that's more of an annoyance then a power. The Sheep and Rat talisman aren't very useful but at least they had a real power.

the real power of the tiger talisman is to preserve the balance of the other talismans: to split ying and yang is only a collateral effect

yeah something like that, shendu said that he needs that talisman to balance the powers of the productive and destructive talismans in him like balance the power of combustion with the power of healing etc, so he doesn't need the tiger so he can use them all at once, he just needs it to be stable, humans don't really need that talisman though
