  • You are one, UGLY mothafucker. Your like the complete opposite of abe lincoln. Sorry bud, snapperfest wont be closin anytime soon. I can give you some free tickets if you want? It fun, lemme tell ya. You gotta try turtle soup, its FUCKING delicious. I caught a turtle for it, and quess what? I ate him. After the competition. Hell, my dad was in it! Send me an email at zayne16@hotmail.com. i can give you info on it.

  • Thank you for exposing this. As a PETAphile and a carnivorous hypocrite I am appalled.

  • Per i vegani che la bevono...una crce sopra...deusione...glk ho scitto 2 paroline 3 settimane fà...nessuna risposta

    e la bevono....

  • GREAT work! Calling Budweiser tomorrow.

  • The Budweiser dude is such a liar. He stammered thru every question you asked him.

  • @barbnoon1 thank you so much for your support

  • Cabbie, have you looked into copyright law? I only know about a 1/2 hour worth of it but it appears that the use of the Budweiser logo falls under the categories of public domain and fair use. I guess they'll let their name be associated with anything. It looks like your goal of requesting them to issue a press release condemning the use of their logo for an event whose sole purpose is to provide entertainment at the expense of innocent animals is right on track. I'll call/write. Kp up the gd wk

  • @kank468 Simple, call your local print shop and ask for a banner to advertise your local cockfight and tell them you want the budweiser logo on the left and your logo on the right.

No print shop would take that order. This was a custom made vinal banner made by a professional printer. A printer would only use the corporate logo if they were authorized to do so. In my opinion the local budweiser distributor ordered the banner.

Thanks for calling them, keep the pressure on them.

  • Two words that would most likely result in a more favouarable response from the folks at Anheuser Busch >>> BOYCOTT BUDWEISER<<<

  • Wow that is the first time I've heard about this Snapperfest... how disgusting. All those people should be arrested and Budweiser at the least fined severely for supporting it.

  • Happy Cabby. fightin for the animals ;D. love it.

  • Omg that's horrible!! How can anyone think that's entertainment and fun? Sick.

  • But I totally support you in this. Cabbie I don't know why you don't get more views, your videos are by far the most interesting ones on Youtube.

  • @Neuroneos thank you

  • That's fucking disgusting. DONT FUCKING TOUCH ANIMALS

  • @Neuroneos I agree

  • Snapperfest... you Americans are so funny.

  • The local beer distributor may supply those signs...then people put whatever they want on them...What kind of demented idiot would participate in such an event?

I not only would feel bad for the animals, but id be so embarrassed being involved with this stupid shit. Great video HC.

  • @stonedcommander thanks

  • @HappyCabbie great video. As someone with an illness like yourself it is very respectable that you are here making videos. I just wanted to thank you for making this video. How sad that our society has resorted to abusing animals for entertainment. Hunting is one thing, if you use the animal for food. But this is drunken stupidness. I want to grab that moron in the picture by the neck and see how he feels. God damn it, I'm pissed off right now.

  • Good for you, HappyCabbie! It is about time human decency promulgated itself. Animals are not able to reason as we humans can. They do what is in their nature and for this they have their heads cut off? Thank you for sticking up for them! You are awesome.

  • @WitchyWorld905 that is what I am here for

  • That's fucked up... people are so cruel to animals. And why is it always religious people...

  • @mooseflier I don't know

  • ok happy brother ,i understand you concern with the save the animals thing but snapper fest really ,& saying that shit about puttin there logo on a dog fight or a cock fight ,well its like this those two have very little in common with snapper fest the turtles are not fighting to the death & dog fights are not legel in any state so get ya shit strate if your going to sit at home inside your four walls & bitch about the world outside its people like you along with dumbasses that stir up shit

  • @hooch1st how about you shove a broomstick up your ass until you bleed from the inside.

  • @HappyCabbie nice mature comeback, you try to be so cool and mr. youtube cop, but you have the attitude of a fat 12 year old with no friends, and the snapping turtles are probably an invasive species

  • @punkboy198 actually the snapperturtles are caught in the wild. They are then brought to this event.

  • @HappyCabbie An invasive species is essentially a species that doesn't belong in a given area. And since it doesn't belong there, there are no natural predators, so the species over populates the area. Not that I agree with Snapperfest or anything, I just didn't want you confusing "invasive" with "bred in captivity".

  • It's good to be the king.

You don't have to take responsibility for anything or even give a shit.

  • @OldeVampyr yep

  • NO! Not the turtles!! :(((

  • @TheLidalgo I know

  • That's just stating that was the beer they was selling it's just like going to a bar get you fact really lol

  • @EVANS831 try and get a print shop to make you a custom made banner using a corporate logo. They won't do it without authorization.

  • If i was on the phone with them i would focus on how it's strange that snapperfest would give the impression that budweiser is one of their sponsors

  • @WickedJargon give them a call

  • @HappyCabbie i thought you'd say that

  • Can't get Budweiser to take action, now go after Snapper fest straight on, because its obvious there are many retailers at this fest. Taking on all these retailers is a bit extreme.

Going after the actual event and the people responsible for this event is your best bet.

Go after the founders and or the people responsible for the funding etc. Seems they are using logo's without permission or they're trying to cover their asses.

However there might be other retailers illegally advertised.

  • @LuvHappinessLuvPain unfortunately due to the public outrage at this event, every car that entered the campus was searched for video and photography equipment. As such most of the bootleg videos focused on the animal abuse. Budweiser is the only company with provable ties to this event.

However a second video on the animal abuse itself is coming.

  • @IntolerantAtheist1

Yeah, I'd wager there probably aren't a lot of Obama supporters in that crowd.

  • This is seriously one of the most... I'd say just plain *retarded* things I've ever heard of, but I don't want to conflate this garbage with innocent retarded people who would never do anything this dumb.

  • @bowlsallbroken I agree

  • I'm not sure why you would think it's impossible for a shop to print a banner with company logo on it. It looks like this Snapperfest is out in a rural area, so whoever printed it probably didn't think it would be a problem. I bet the intent of the sign was to tell people they'll have Budweiser at the event. Seems like you're quick to blame Budweiser and not the event coordinators or sign makers.

  • @allmakescombined Simple, go down to your local print shop and ask them to print the Budweiser logo next to whatever. See if you can get one to agree to make a custom made banner for you.

Professional sign makers will not risk the lawsuit for unauthorized use of a corporate logo like that. Someone with authority ordered that banner.

  • @HappyCabbie Professional sign makers aren't SUPPOSED to print an unauthorized corporate logo, is what I'm saying. Why you seem to have jumped to the conclusion that Anheuser Busch / Budweiser did the wrong thing and not the print shop is what I'm not understanding. I could probably get a Microsoft banner printed up if I drove out to a print shop out in the boonies (where this festival clearly was). From the recorded call, it sounds like they didn't even know about it.

  • Well i wouldn't bother trying to boycott them they make enough sales and people love there beer

  • @SweetRebelBaby08 I am not calling for a boycott

  • Come on Cabbie. They're the sponsors and that's it. If they weren't they would go to court.

  • @Ryuu44 I know they are sponsors, I just want them to admit it.

  • I think it's great that your taking such a decided stance in this. In horrendous cases, such as this shocking animal abuse, corporations who are seen to support and/or profit from them (even unknowingly) should be held responsible and should, at the very least, issue a press release either stating that they were unknowingly represented or an apology that they sponsored such an act of exhibitionist cruelty.

  • @Amoore5229 thank you

  • c'mon cabby.. you are probably talking to some dude 1,000 miles away from where you are and where it took place...

in addition to that, the banner could have been made at any number of dozens of print shops

out side of that..you have a photo of something bad happening and great job... should theme parks be shut down too because about 1000+ people die each year at them? when do we stop? should everyone attending just have stayed inside that day? would that have even made a difference?

  • @destin325 The people who die at theme parks are willing participants. Here I am protesting corporate sponsorship of animal abuse.

  • That's why there on top of the food chain, morels hold no value in the world of darwin. This is why people like you and I will allways be at the bottom we have the knowledge but will never use it on its understanding true values.

  • @JONATHANvideoRespon and that explains Budweiser's lies how?

  • "No respectable print shop would knowingly make a banner or sign using a corporate logo without authorization. " - Printshops don't care - it's the client's legal responsibility.

  • @JuryDutySummons try and get a printshop in your town to print a banner for you using the budweiser logo.

  • @HappyCabbie I won't need to - Budweiser produces these things blank and in bulk. You would take a blank one to the print-shop and they won't give a shit.

  • One of my cousins is married to someone who owns a printing business. I can get a professional banner printed up with basically anything I want.

The next time the Westboro Baptist Church comes anywhere near my location I'm going to get something printed up saying they are being sponsored by Budweiser. According to what was said, they won't do anything about it.

  • @Hockeygod98 that should be fun

  • I had to look up what this is and I am horrified... HORRIFIED by it. There are YouTube videos and I cannot bring myself to watch any of them after reading a description of the event.

Where is the SPCA, or law enforcement? This repulsive event is entirely gratuitous, cruel, sadistic, and plain inhuman, not to mention inhumane.

My own country clubs baby harp seals, that's pretty damn disgusting too. I'm not a PETA type, but I have a heart and I am sickened by causing deliberate suffering.

  • @bagelboi66 I am not a drinker, but Budweiser doesn't need to know that. I am writing a strongly-worded response to their "endorsement by negligence" of this event. They ought to have their solicitors preparing to litigate the event organizers for misrepresentation of their brand. I'm going to use their contact form and put that same letter in the post to them. Sometimes a proper letter in the mail has greater impact.

Finally I'd like to do my part to SHUT DOWN this horrifying event!

  • @bagelboi66 good for you. Keep the public pressure on them

  • Good to see people on this. a Good Cause. You can have SnapperFest, but not Games that abuse them. I am sure the NEWS will be there next year.

But Budweiser should come out and put this kind of activity down.

  • @KiddsockTV actually Fox news was there, their local station anyway. I have never seen a more biased and sanitized news story.

  • SHowing Animals Respect & Kindness or "SHARK" are a charity organisation that covers events like this and outs the people that run the events and the sponsors and are currently trying their best to ban certain kinds of rodeo events and pigeon shootings. I may direct them to this video.

  • @evilyakko Shark actually has been spreading this video around. They are a great organization.

  • this is one of the most idiotic and cruel thing i've ever seen

  • @nunzioforpresident

Geez, spend some more time on the internet then lol. I can show you way more idiotic and cruel things than someone pulling a turtle out of their shell.

  • you are asking for morality from an american company

that Stole its name and brew from Eastern Europe

making a good beer 1.9 in stead of 4.8......come on man get real

bud is pisswater anyway as long as they sell the shit they dont give a fuck

    thats the amerikan way

  • @swinewarrior I know

  • @HappyCabbie kudos man

  • Oh my god. Why does this world think that killing innocent animals is so fucking dandy?

  • @kjnilsd I do not know

  • @IntolerantAtheist1 many of them do

  • @fuckoverload sad but true

  • How many does this guy say "basically" and "that's all the info we have at this time?" I hate stupid douchebags like this. They obviously do not do shit and don't help at all. I'm so outraged at this right now. Who in the right mind would think "Snapperfest" is a good idea?

  • @FotoShopped I do apologize for my limited language skills. Sadly I don't have much more than a high school education and some community college. I will try and do better next time.

  • @HappyCabbie No, no, no, man! It wasn't you, I was angry about the stupid customer support guy! They NEVER help.

  • guess bud weiser got you really sick onetime when you over drank at a party.

  • @johnswackyworld actually I have never consumed alchohol.

  • Good to see that someone actually takes notice of horrible events like these and tries to do something about them. I know they're not the cutest or cuddliest of animals but they still feel pain just like we do and I'm so glad that there are people who actually realize this. I bet people would be much more outraged if they were doing this to kittens or puppies.

  • @PsychoGirlHere I agree

  • Theres a snapper fest in Indiana? Them things are so over populated here.

  • @BDAVIS382 that is still no reason to torture them.

  • never heard of snapperfest but now I just got a reson to hate mankinde a little more. but thanks to you thear's allweys a reson to not give upp hope ^w^

  • @nemi95swe thank you

  • Grabbing a snapping turtle? That's dumb as hell. It takes a special kind of stupid to believe that grabbing a snapping turtle by the neck would be fun. It takes a special kind of retarded to sponser such an event. I hate snapping turtles, but I don't think they deserve to be mistreated like this.

  • @ValentineNation well said.

  • Let you guys know. You don't want to cut off a snapping turtle head when your finger is in his mouth you will not get your finger back. As soon as there head is cut off and your finger is in there mouth they will not at go.

  • @stoper4077 tell that to the guy with the knife in the video.

  • what if they are doing this for enviromental reasons kinda like the rattlesnake round up in the west to help control the snake population

  • @davedumas0 Hang on, you mean the rattlesnake roundups where they pour gasoline into suspected snake dens to gather the snakes as they escape their now toxic homes? Pouring gasoline into the ground is being done for environmental reasons?

Don't get me wrong. Snake meat is delicious. I'm just trying to resolve what I know about the practices of many snake hunters with any kind of environmentalism.

  • @davedumas0 who cares if they are?

  • I am a coordinator at Snapperfest and I deny the accusation that it is harmful to the animals. Snapperfest is about fun, turtle soup and sharing a beer with your friends. Having a laugh is something lightheartedly and the animals are not harmed in a way, shape or forms, but are in all probability even enjoying the attention they are given.

  • @outsidemendham Keep on trollin'

  • @outsidemendham, oh yeah, turtles LOVE having their bodies slammed to the ground. It's in their nature. Are You KIDDING?? I hope you are. It's about turtle soup, and tenderizing living flesh before you kill it. sick. Find another "sport".

  • @outsidemendham Yeah because something as heavy as a snapping turtle totally enjoys getting hoisted up by its tail, slammed to the ground and then hoisted up again by it's neck. How about we lift you up by your balls, slam you to the ground and then pick you up by your neck? Sound fun to you? Sick fucking bastard.

  • @outsidemendham Why don't you get on camera and make a video about how proud you are of your animal abuse.

  • @outsidemendham Another thing I forgot to mention is that my bearded dragon weighs much less than a snapping turtle (although he is overweight) but I would never even think about picking him up by his tail or his neck unless I was trying to save him from any immediate danger. Go and find another hobby you sick, cruel bastard.

  • GO CABBY GO !!!!!

  • @judas380 thanks

  • i love when people do these kind of videos in respect for animals :)

  • @kevinmeehan71 thanks for watching

  • That snapperfest should never take place again. The people who think that is right should just die.

  • @RawrItsJuul I agree

  • Comment removed

  • The original owner of Busch loved animals. And never would have let this crap happen.

  • @sXeXryanX yep

  • Budweiser is torture on humans!!

  • @leeboysouth Don't drink it!!

  • "the great american lager" XD yea right XD American lager/beer sucks!

  • @HappyIsFleeting '

*Sigh*, don't tar all American beer with the Budweiser brush, OK? There are numerous fantastic craft brews being made all over the country.

  • @bowlsallbroken I was joking, dude calm the fuck down, lol. But Hey everyone is entitled to their opinion and mine is that German beer is the best.

  • @HappyIsFleeting

    It's cool, I'm calm :)

A lot of people say that seriously because they've only had our mass-produced swill. Germany has a much better tradition of good large-scale brewing, and some of my favorites are German, but many of the smaller American brewers are making excellent beer. I personally prefer rat piss to Budweiser lol.

  • @bowlsallbroken XD You are right. SOme AMerican beer is damn good.

  • Aurora police note they have received many complaints re "Snapperfest" held at Campshore in Ohio County, Indiana. They want to educate the public that this event is not held within the City of Aurora and falls outside of the jurisdiction of the Aurora Police Department...

  • @twocentsCanada ..."though the event has an Aurora address, it does not occur in Aurora, or even in Dearborn County. Correspondence should be addressed to the Ohio County Sheriff's Department, Indiana State Police, or the Indiana Department of Natural Resources." aurora.in.us/police/

  • @twocentsCanada It is held in Risning Sun

  • @twocentsCanada then it should fall to the jurisdiction of the sherrif's department

  • @HappyCabbie

Shit your police system sounds so confusing over there, sheriffs dept, county police, state police etc etc.

At least we have it nice and simple here, 6 state police and federal police only.

  • @HappyCabbie You might also contact SHARK (SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness), sharkonline (dot) org - their mission "is to nonviolently battle animal abuse whenever and wherever possible. We consider those who commit terrorism in the name of animal protection to be among the greatest threats to future gains for nonhumans."

  • @twocentsCanada Shark actually posted this video as a bulletin a few hours ago. They are helping to spread it around

  • HEY PETA HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO SHINE

  • @Budies2004 "The group was unsuccessful in asking the Ohio County Commissioners to halt the event. PETA is now asking others to put pressure on county leaders.

The contact information for various county commissioners and councilmen has been published on the PETA website." Eagle 99.3 "PETA Wants Snapperfest Stopped", eaglecountryonline (dot) com

  • @twocentsCanada Oh ok I was just thinking that they may want to get involved seeing as they do this kind of stuff when ever events include cruelty to animals happen so thanks for informing me of that.

  • “Where there is a mind, there are feelings such as pain, pleasure, and joy. No sentient being wants pain: all wants happiness instead.” – Dalai Lama

“The systematic torture of sentient beings, whatever the pretext and in whatever form, cannot achieve anything more than it already has: to show us what is the lowest point of debasement man can reach . . . if that’s what we want to know.” – Joaquin Phoenix | EARTHLINGS (The Movie)

  • @MrHolise Earthlings was a good movie

  • Bud's Belgium-based parent company -- AB InBev -- also produces Stella Artois, Beck's, Labatt Blue, and many other brands. If you contact animal rights bloggers and pressure groups in Belgium, UK, Germany, Canada, etc., and tell them what Budweiser is doing, you might get more traction; I suspect Belgians and Britons might be more shocked and outraged by the barbarity of turtle wrastlin' than would the average American Bud-drinker.

  • @PostSurgeOperative any help you can in getting the message out is appreciated

  • More from A.B. website: "A-B InBev Code of Commercial Communications" pdf:

"General Principle - All forms of commercial communications involving Anheuser-Busch InBev beer brands shall be ethical, honest and truthful, and must reflect generally accepted contemporary standards of good taste and decency."

  • More from A.B. website: "A-B InBev Code of Commercial Communications" pdf: Scope of the Code The Code applies to all forms of brand marketing or commercial communications for all AB InBev products that carry a beer trade name and/or have a beer taste profile including : • advertising through digital2 and non-digital media • sponsorships • indoor and outdoor events • AB InBev authorized promotional activities (on premise & off premise) • consumer PR • point of connection materials
  • wow..I never knew an event like that existed....that disgusts me....ugh. the things that people come up with as entertainment.

  • @johee626 13th annual by the way.

  • He sounded like he was bullshitting you.

  • @messenger360 I think so

  • From their website: "We bring to life our dream to be the Best Beer Company in a Better World through Our World. Our Responsibility. Our goal is to connect our efforts to a collective responsibility we share with our employees, consumers, wholesalers, retailers, law enforcement, elected officials, educators and other partners. After all, these are our roads, our kids, our neighborhoods and this is our Earth; and it is our obligation to work together to help support our communities. .."

  • @twocentsCanada cont'd"... "Budweiser, Bud Light and other brands also take ownership of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts by creating consumer centric programs for adults. These programs enhance brand sponsorships and through our work with wholesalers, we reach consumers with impactful messages at the point of purchase and at a variety of beer-drinking occasions, including sports games, concerts and other events." ~ anheuser-busch (dot) com

  • @twocentsCanada thanks for the info

  • But turttle tastes good. Turttle has 7 different types of meat.

  • @persuaderboats the issue is not hunting. The issue is the needless suffering for cheap entertainment value.

  • @HappyCabbie I see that now, I don't play with my food.

  • I certainly hope they issue a de- nouncing statement and make it alot tougher on ppl to get away with this crap. It would be sweet if all the money they made from the event - due in large part by using the Budweiser name - would have to be donated to the Humane Society. But that's *my* fantasy world, I know.

  • @DarkCatBurn my fantasy world involves criminal charges for animal abuse

  • sounds like a redneck game....and i know redneck games i do live in ks after all LOL....... on that note..... i like turtles :(

  • @icttrav I like turtles too

  • sent Bush an email. Thats nasty man

  • @greyknight7 good job

  • They didn´t seem worried at the phone.

  • @TheChildPrey yep, they are getting lots of calls like this.

  • Holy crap, that's cruel

I had no idea something like that still happened.

  • @Katfellow we are trying to stop it

  • They make these signs all the time for events. The signs are usually free b/c it has their ads on it. We got one when we opened one of my dad's stores.

  • @Ryan2142 Where did you get the sign from?

  • @HappyCabbie Mine was from a coca cola distributor. It was specifically a grand opening sign that first time, but you could order them, or them came with a big order (obviously you would tell them what it needed to say in advance), or you could get one every so often for a special event if you leaned on them a bit.

  • @Ryan2142 My point exactly, for budweiser to claim that they had no knowledge of this banner either at the corporate or the local level is highly dubious.

  • @HappyCabbie Eh. Not really very surprising. It's not like they keep records of all the signs they would make, and even aside from that I believe many of the signs come with letters that you could put in any configuration you want.

  • @Ryan2142 This was a printed banner on what appears to be vinal. There is no way this could be a used banner. This was custom made for this event and this event alone. Budweiser is lying to me.

  • @HappyCabbie It doesn't have to be a "used" banner. Of course, there's also no reason it couldn't be. They could save their signage from last. But regardless I didn't say it was used, I said it could have come with letters. The turtle graphic itself doesn't fit that, true, but It's not a sponsorship in the way you're thinking it is, That they made a conscious effort to advertise at this place. Bars and shit order these signs too. The companies don't care what they say, and I doubt screen them.

  • @AcceptNoBullshit thanks

  • That's fucked up. Simple and true.

  • @SuperiFox yep

  • @Thenewyorkcritic well to that, I would like to remind you that I am currently autoplaying Devchelle2's video promoting his aids charity event. Next month is the dprjones DoctorsWithoutBorders annual fund raiser. Furthermore as a former homeless man myself I know far too well the plight of the homeless in this country. I have not forgotten.

However I see no need to wait until every homeless person has a job and a home before we act on animal abuse.

  • Well im sure not drinking budweiser ever again. As if the sexist ads from them werent enough.

  • @A7Guitar good for you.

  • Stupid budweiser!!! Such a disgrace that the factory is in Colorado!!

  • @Howlingwildwolf I think you are referring to Coors, Budweiser is based out of St Louis, although no doubt they have bottling plants all over the country.

  • Cabbie, that really is a customer service rep, i've done that same sort of job and at a basic level, thats when you use the lines "I'll pass that onto ..... department" IF you were talking to a manager who could actually do something, then they would say stuff like " I will do.... blah blah blah". Basically, the more people that get involved in this the better, the more pressure is on them to take action. Is there an email address for bud? I could email them from the uk... might do something...
