I was so pissed that they destroyed venom, both literally and metaphically. Venom does not say "I" he says "We", he is supposed to be huge like the side of The Thing, and supposed to have a gnarly evil voice! Not some gay ass That 70s show voice! I wanted a gutteral "WE ARE VENOM!!!" deathmetal voice! I gotta say thought that Variant Edition really was honest when it came to this b-rate movie.

um, the venom voice was only in the cartoon plus the size of venom was ridiculous in the comics. its a movie, get used to it.

no not tha voice like the one from the cartoons. All i'm saying is that a vicious beast like venom should have a fierce death metal voice. Also, movies are artforms, and this art is that of an autistic 5 year old. There is nothing redeemable about that movie! And i can flat out trash on it if i damn well want!

I agree you really didn't need Sandman but the scene where he learns about his abilities that whole scene was CGI and it was that deep. I thought about to cut it at the bell tower and go to other scenes and you'll get to see Venom in the 4th one in 2009 or 2010.But Harry out of all of the characters in the movie was the best actor even Venom He seemed so into it it's like he's actuallu dealing with a situation in real life James Franco! fantastic actor!

You know what? I tried out the video from the Variant Edition site for ep #55, and it was loading slow, making it choppy as hell. I'm not one to complain about this sort of thing usually, but when you tell me EVERY TIME that it's way faster over there, I'm sorry to say that I have to call you out on it. It's faster on YouTube, guys. :/

Mike, doing a space shuttle scene would not have been true the comics since it never happened in the comics. The scene you are referring to was from the 90s cartoon. The movie was already overstuffed as it was. Enter 5 second meteor scene. Done.

True. Spider-Man got the alien uniform during the first Secret Wars,he was the one who brought it to earth, and willingly.

Also, the simbyote never triggered the spider-sense in the comics, which is why VEnom got such an upper hand against Spidey in his first appearances. So in that aspect the film was faithful to comic book continuity.

Very true on all accounts, I personally would have rather gone for the space shuttle ordeal. Because the REAL origin in the comics would have been WAY too difficult to do, too much back story. And I just liked how they approached it in the cartoon. Still how they used it in the movie was nice at best.

but c'mon the spidey couldn't detect venom because the symbiote knew everything about spiderman and technically, the spider-sense didn't recognize the symbiote as a threat because it taught it was spiderman aka peter parker.
