FEAR 3 is being developed by Day 1 Studios, one who ported FEAR 1 and Files to the console so they do have experience of what a true FEAR game is. Dead Space is good, but not scary on my part

Sad it isn't a survival horror. The ammo capacity is like CoD where you get tons of bullets/shells (or whatever type of ammo) for your weapon. What they need to do is to minimize the ammo capacity fx only two rounds for an assault rifle instead of over 9000. That could be awesome.

see this is where they fucked up, fear 1 central focus was paxton, pointman, and alma and then fear 2 came along ( not that fear 2 was bad ) but they bring in an entirely different story that looks like it has nothing to do with fear 3 minus her being prego. like where is becket now?! they pick up the story at a random location. also looks like there are barely any alma pop ups anymore from all the videos that are out for this :/ owel im still interested to play it!

i don't really care that its getting less scary since I didn't invest that much in that particularly area of FEAR's story. They still had that tension, their tendency for twists, and that element of discovery in the second one, which I think are the ties that bind in this particular franchise...really in any franchise.

What I loved about fear was the close quarters intense gun play that worked along with the supernatural vibe that always felt closeby. I just loved the tension and the chaos. I hated the mech suits and the over the top action sequences that made fear 2 feel generic at times. I still liked the game I just hope they can maintain that feel even though it looks like they are adding a ton of gameplay changes.

i just got fear one. the first level got me hooked. scared me,good story, and this isnt like survival horror.its more like demons,ghosts poltergeist type scary. you see a person across a room for a split second and you hear that sound that scares you crapless. very intense i didn't rush through anything because i wanted to see what happened and it really does deliver that intensity that you hear from ghost victims or whatever.
