  • @xXxdarkrebelxXx What are you doing on this video? And actually, many people do give a fuck.

  • Thanxxxx ! I dident understand this in the book, but this video made it clear to me.

    Cheers.

  • The last statement "This is why a child may inherit his father's nose and his mother's eyes" is not true, and in the context is a non sequitur. Crossing over allows a parent to independently pass on two alleles for two different traits which happen to reside on the same chromosome.

  • uhm it is true since crossing over means allele switch places, which can carry a dominant allele for a big nose (fathers nose) and a dominant allele for brown eyes (moms eyes)

  • yeah i was thinking the exact same thing.

  • No, it allows a parent to pass on ONE allele (except in the case of sex chromosomes)

  • Really? 42 seconds for that?

  • Open the pod-bay doors! (Good video too)

  • Really interesting, thanks for posting this!

  • Thanks, I could use this in my gene unit

  • Mendels experiments showed that one species could not transmute into another one.A genetic barrier existed that could not be bridged.Mendels work laid the basis for modern genetics, and his discoveries effectively destroyed the basis for species evolution.

  • @AgentCool017

are you sure things can not mutate to make a new species?

I thought new species have been created by man... or maybe just variations of the same species?

either way, I dont know enough to argue, I am just guessing there must be reason the majority of todays scientist agree on evolution

  • @AgentCool017 smells like bullshit to me

  • @AgentCool017 What is this genetic barrier for speciation? The only barrier that I have found in my studies of genetics in evolution is time. Also, there has been many instances of observed speciation (google is your friend here).

  • @AgentCool017 Transmute isn't how Evolution even works. That's Alchemy.

  • Thanks, I could use this in my gene unit
