It's great to see the artist at work. Leah has created such original pieces full of depth and intimacy. I enjoyed the short film which gave great insight to the artist's thoughts before, during and after she creates. Bravo.
I must confess that I have a bias. I have known Leah for years and have had the pleasure of watching her work, viewing her sculptures, and hearing her discuss her own creative processes many times. I am very pleased that this documentary will reach a wider audience and perhaps help bring more attention to this fascinating woman's oeuvre.
I have seen many of the bed sculptures in gallery shows, and they are nothing short of revelatory...the titles alone made me giggle or pause in momentary awe. As the meaning of each bed crept up on me, or bumped me in the head, I experienced that wonderful feeling of sharing art with the artist, the recognition of human expression shifting the dimensions...making the day a pleasant one.
she rocks !

What a delightful and creative idea. The small beds are as beautiful as they are unique. Good luck with larger ones.
