  • @TheAlienpope lol you noob even said that html5 is better for animating without even knowing what it is.

  • @TheAlienpope lol html5 is s coding language, a upgraded version of eg. xhtml, php. if you didnt know that, maybe this sort of stuff isnt your thing

  • is html 5 still in beta? or can i buy it somewhere?

  • @TheAlienpope If you have a modern computer, then you already have it.

  • @Hildron101010 oh right.. lol.. but u mean modern web browser i'm guessing (i have the newest version of chrome btw). but how do i acces the animator and stuff like that?

  • Great video. Thanks.

  • Wow, this video was really really well done. You made this all seem very easy. As a Flash loving web designer, I've been really hesitant to learn this kind of non-Flash animation but you just made it seem really easy. I'm going to buy this program specifically because of your video! Thanks!!

  • so wat is better for animating flash or html5?

  • @stikanator html5

  • Thanks so much!

  • Long live flash! Long live flash! Long live flash! Long live flash!

But HTML5 is pretty awesome, but still..

LONG LIVE FLASH! LONG LIVE FLASH! LONG LIVE FLASH!

  • @AdamantSystems Long live Flash? Yeah, how's that workin' for you? Microsoft ditched so much Flash, Apple ditched Flash (years ago), so many website are using HTML5 now, and even Adobe has Flash to HTML5 converters and HTML5 builders. Adobe knows their Flash platform sucks.

  • @Hildron101010 I mean using for YouTube and games. Other than that, it's just bull.

  • @Hildron101010 So you hate Adobe more than Google, right?

  • @Hildron101010 I meant Flash, like the software. That people use. For animations, not others. That's how that's working for me.

  • @Hildron101010 Thanks for the video. But your love for html5 has clouded your judgement. Html5 is way slower than Flash. It is in fact way slower than the first version of Flash. True that it doesn't require a plugin, but most browser have that plugin, on the other hand the support for html5 is still low.

Microsoft ditched Flash? Yes, but only to change to Silverlight which is again plugin based. Flash is here to stay and Adobe has already developed it to levels html5 might never reach.

  • @Hildron101010 Im not a fanboy of any technology. I develop content in different technologies. At this moment, Flash is many years infront of html5. Its faster, uses less resources, easier to build, has more support, stronger code, offers native hardware 3d rendering, ...

However I don't see the two as strictly competing technologies. Html5 will no doubt take over the simpler tasks, being a platform for video and basic animations. Flash will stay and grow as the dominant RIA platform.

  • @AdamantSystems Even YouTube uses HTML5 now. They have a Flash option, but they use HTML5.

  • Did anyone hear a iDevice get a mail at 2:51?

  • I am old school with a text editor and CSS3 :P

  • Sorry about this hildron, but....WHERE IS CS 38.0?! D: me is waiting forever

  • System.out.println ("Hello World");

If you do not know what that means, search it up.

  • @mviper500 Java

  • yay not first

  • You have a Twitter? That's a surprise. What's next, Facebook and Google+? lol
