  • Muppets from Space was still made in 1999 which is a long time from 2011. So I'd say they disappeared.

  • I hope someone mixes muppets with pulp fiction! LOL XD

  • WAKA WAKA MUTHA FUCKA! lol

  • "Gary Stu" and "Mary Sue" are story-telling terms for near-perfect, goody-two-shoes characters that are hard for real life people to relate to. This is probably where Gary and Mary's names came from, since they seem to fit that description. i'm actually impressed they did that.

  • I wonder if people can simply not dislike a good intentioned movie. I wonder if that, through some awkward form of embarrasment or pity that they feel obligated to praise something that, while terrible, had the good intentions of the Muppets.

I saw the Muppets, I am a Muppet fan at heart, I could see the passion that went into the movie and what it was trying to do... But I felt pity and embarrasment for it.

But it was a bad movie. The Spillcrew are the only accurate reviews I've seen.

  • Funny review but I honestly thought the movie was a full price movie.

  • I want to see waka waka mother f**ker

  • Ok. Normally I like these guys' opinion but as this review clearly shows, they're dead inside. This movie was absolutely fantastic!!! The songs were so much fun, the story was classic muppets, and the writing was hilarious!! Hats off to Jason Segel and the gang for making this perfect way to bring back the Muppets!! High high FULL PRICE!!!

  • @MitchConnelly I wanted to see more swedish chef, but I totally agree with you on this one. Though I have to say, the first song in the movie made me twitch a bit

  • Bear in mind that Muppets from Space was in fact released 12 years ago, so that is a pretty long time for the world to be muppetless. Also, it's one of my favourite muppet movies! Gonzo finds his origin to a 70's funk soundtrack? Brilliant.

  • I am a die hard muppets fan but honestly there are 2 movies that I just can't stand; Muppets Take Manhattan, and this turd. I was all exited for the big come back and just didn't deliver.

  • The state of disrepair the Muppet Theater was in had me sort of confused. Sure, the Muppets haven't made any MOVIES in a while, but aren't they and the theater running in full vigor at Disney's California Adventure? *lol*

(Huh... My spell-check doesn't see 'Muppet' as being a misspelling, but 'Muppets' IS a misspelling. Weird...)

  • Man what is with Korey's hatred towards Jason Segel?

  • Comment removed

  • ive got those muppet movies ahh...fun shit, but the human characters sucked ass

  • Odd that Carlyle is still at the end.

  • @No, it was ROB. (jk it was "80's Robot."

  • was that wall-e driving the car?

  • wow you guys are becoming jerks.

  • haters, dislike

  • Loll nice ending

  • They already made a Pulp Fiction / Muppets crossover. Its a big youtube vid.

  • God i hate pulpfiction

  • This movie was absolutely wonderful. They couldn't be more wrong, I loved this movie, saw it more than once. FULL PRICE!!!

  • omg was that cane joke in the movie 4 times smh hell no im not going to see this

  • mahna-mahna

  • It was awesome

  • that would of been awesome and funny pulp fiction starting the muppets

  • 0:31 Couldn't stop laughing!

  • My first real disagreement with Spill.com... sadness. Muppets are awesome. Definitely Full Price.

  • Mickey Rooneys still alive, FYI

  • @McGrawProductions That is the joke.

  • I like this movie it brought back childhood a little bit. But I think I realize that I don't like Amy Adams lol.

  • WTFFFFF IS WRONG WITH U GUYS!!!!!! THIS WAS THE BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR!!

  • No Rating Card for Co-Host??? RACIST!

  • 7.50?

It's like $12 for midnights here.

  • See reviews right when they come out! Sign up and make your OWN spill movie page at ------> spill.com

  • do one on the skin i live in

  • if i remember right the last muppets movie was muppets in wonderland

  • hey is beapers in this, you know the the meeper dude.

  • Waka waka motherfucka!

  • mickey Rooney is not dead

  • Wakka Wakka who wants to hear a funny ass joke?

  • This movie just copied off of The Country Bears...

  • @dragonbreathstinks

    Holy fuck are you stupid

  • @OfLanceTheLonginus What did I say? Sorry I can't find my comment.

  • Which Muppet do you think resembles each of us best and why? Be Gentle...wait a minute, what the fuck am i saying, GIVE ME ALL YA GOT! and make it good!

  • @spillcom Cyrus = Fonzie.

  • @spillcom

    Animal = Korey

    Fozzie = Cyrus

    Dr. Teeth = Co-host

    Gonzo = Leon

    Miss Piggy = Carlyle

    Chef = Professor

    Sam = Kevin

    Rizzo = Jason

    Walter = Nick

  • @spillcom

In my opinion I see Leon as Ralph( both are funky, and soulfull), Co-Host as Pepe (not because he's hispanic, but because of his mellow demeanor but always chimming in with hilarious insights and comments), and I see Cyrus as Miss Piggy (I can't pin point on why, he just seems to share some similar character attributes with her) and Korey as a cross between Kermit and Fozzie Bear. Because they're are times where he's the most straight out of the group, and other times he's the comic.

  • @spillcom "Be gentle... wait a minute, what the fuck am I saying, GIVE ME ALL YA GOT! and make it good!" nice porn reference

  • @spillcom I'd say that Co-Host would be the Muppet eyeballs.

  • why does ms. piggy sound like a guy??

  • Why is it that Matinee has been most of the ratings Korey has given to the past 10 films?

  • @MaxGoesFourth Cos he's captain matinee!! :D

  • I normally agree with Spill.com's reviews but we must have been watching two totally different movies here because they gave this a rental but about a year ago they gave "Yogi Bear" a positive review. What the fuck?!

  • People who liked the Matrix sequels > People who didn't like the Matrix sequels.

here is the Pulp Fiction Muppets trailer watch?v=mSvJwUFI_es

  • Solid Rental.

Parts were good, overall this film was un-fucking funny and cringe-worthy. It was like a 2hr long sit-com episode, not a Muppet movie.

  • I didn't agree with Spill in this case. For me, this was easily a "Better than sex." It was such a loving film and tribute. Sure it had problems, but it was the first mainstream movie this year to actually remind me that I had a heart and emotions. It was a rollercoaster ride of nostalgia and positivity and happiness. And just on the whole the movie was well put together. It was basically all I could have asked for in a Muppet movie, or a good family movie in general.

  • Oh yeah...Spill does video reviews...

  • Dear Spill.com...

    FUCK!

    YOU!!!

  • And Not long ago I was watching The Muppets take Manhatton on OnDemand:)

  • I wish some one would toss a match on kermit :)

  • @jonnycashman100 The funny thing is that even if someone did toss a match on him he'd still be more popular than you.

  • I just can't agree with the rating here. I think it's an enthusiastic full price, but it definitely will depend on whether you actually grew up with the characters or not.

  • @Woodshatter the muppets fucking sucks, get over it kid. or mentally retarded person. hell I dont know you.

  • My problem with The Muppets was the cinematography. It's obvious that the movie was shot on digital. The movie did not have that cinematic feel that the previous films had. The movie looked cheap.

  • this movie was the shit!

  • watched this while clipping my toenails. awful, awful idea. blood everywhere

  • I liked Muppet Treasure Island!

  • lol Matrix sequels. They've actually aged amazingly well imo. As good as the original.

  • If they haven't seen Pulp Fiction with Muppets...they obviously haven't seen the trailer. XD Look up "Pulp Muppets" on Youtube! :D

  • yeah, why does co-host have no rating card?

  • WAKA WAKA MUTHAFACKER

  • i think u gotta be high when you see this shit

  • The Puppet's Wizard of Oz wasn't too long ago. :P

  • 2 mistakes in this movie, they made the muppets the 2nd fiddle comedy relief in their own movie, you don't need humans to star in this, the protagonist should always be Kermit. other mistakes if you are going to have celebrites in this have them do something

  • Pulp Muppet, LOL!

  • Muppets With Guns

"Waka-Waka Motherfucker" Shoots Him In The Face. LOL.

  • want a pulp fiction Muppet shirt now

  • "Waka-waka, motherfucker" LMAO

  • Rashida Jones... goood god!

  • Yeah The Muppets are Back!!

  • it definelty is a full price..its also the best reviewed and highest grossing of the series..but everyone is entitled to their opinions..

  • God, I've always hated the Muppets. I always thought they were going to suck out my soul or something. Creepy...

  • What's that song at the begging of every review?

  • @WSBM14 its not a real song. :)

  • @WSBM14 It's a remix of "Compared to What" by Les McCann.

  • Wakka wakka mother fucker! genius

  • I'm sure that's Ben Kingsley playing the milkman.

  • Pulp (Fiction) Muppets. You're welcome watch?v=mSvJwUFI_es

  • would everyone shut the fuck up with the pulp fiction shit. Its not funny anymore

  • Hey if u wanna see muppets with guns, watch the Black Dynamite cartoon XD

    THEY'RE EVERYWHERE HAHA

  • yeah i gotta say this is a full price for sure

  • Man I usually agree with you guys but I loved this movie and I'm surprised that you guys seem to be just kind of "meh" towards the whole thing. It was pretty much as good as a Muppet movie could be. All the classic humor was there and even if it's plot was simple, it was perfect for it.

I know a movie did it's job when there are just as many adults as there are kids in the theatre and every one of them laughed together the majority of the movie.

  • @squeezeslemons Wow and rotten tomatoes hates virtually hates every good movie.

  • @ShotDead20 Like what?

  • @ShotDead20 but they hated Twilight.

  • this is the first time i actually disagree with you

  • Maybe its just me but sometimes I wonder if the crew can sometimes can be a bit nitpicky or cynical at times on certain movies, they had the same reaction towards Super 8. They say the muppets is not that great but everywhere else I hear other people are praising it the everlasting life out of this.

  • still no rating card for the robots.

  • @hitachi088 discrimination, it's discrimination I tell you

  • @hitachi088 Robots ain't got no rights

  • @hitachi088 what world do you live in??? a mexican's opinion doesn't count.

  • @hitachi088 Robots are real people.

    They're fake people.

  • This was much better than Spill makes it out to be.

  • It has a 98% on rotten tomatoes so it must be pretty damn good.

  • this was a really good comeback for the muppets. i took my 16, (2) 14, (2) 12, and 9 year old siblings to see it last week. the 9 and 14 yr olds laughed nearly the whole movie and relized why i said i was so excited to see gonzo.

  • Any chance you guys can make a skit of just Kermit and Fozi doing Pulp Fiction?

  • Bwahahaha, kermit & fozi with a 9

  • Wow...I'm really surprised by their so-so reviews.

  • WAKKA WAKKKA CAFE MOCA!

  • muppets treasure island was awesome

  • isn't a Muppet Pulp Fiction story already a joke poster!?

  • I really liked this movie. I thought it was funny.

  • Muppet Fiction

  • no one mentions the muppets wizard of oz. that was like 3 or 4 years ago but man that was BAAAADD.

  • The Last 12 Seconds Of The Review Are Fucking Amazing!

  • I don't think so....? Sister?

  • WAKA WAKA muthafucka! Lmao.

  • 3:26 if i saw that coming at me, i would shit a brick and run to the hills, trampling people on the way

  • @TheFounders Cool story bro

  • Jason Segel is more of a Muppet than any of them, lol.

  • A Pulp Fiction Muppets movie would be amazing

  • @TheMightyChurch I think I shot Kermit in the face...

  • @TheMightyChurch Look up "Pulp Muppets" here on youtube. Been around for a while but its exactly what Spill described

  • @TheMightyChurch Who gets to be the gimp?

  • @6plastic Beaker of course. You seen how much abuse he takes from Bunsen? XD

  • @TheMightyChurch Internet Delivers:

    /watch?v=mSvJwUFI_es

  • @TheFounders Wow. Good one.

  • Sorry guys but this is the one I review I really disagreed with you on...not so much the rating you gave it but rather just the whole notion of wanting to see more of the moopets or muppets with guns. Reason I liked this movie is because they kept to what made the muppets fun and poked fun of this trend of late to 'modernize' things or 'make them hip', like what they did with the chipmunks or the looney tunes in space jam, and frankly I'm sick to death of that trend.

  • Say Waka again!

  • They've got it right in this review.

This movie was a mixed bag. Low Matinee.

  • I need to see this.

I mean, yeah it's been like what 10 years since the last movie came out. I mean, the Christmas one comes out every year so it's not like they left. Their movies always show up on Disney from time to time. If you miss that much go and by the DVD and watch them.

    I love the Muppets.

  • waka waka muthafucka.

  • another DISGUSTING movie : (

  • Muppet Treasure Island is the shit!

  • Watch the audio reviews they are a lot more in depth about the film.

  • @Brewcity227 what do you expect? they are like 6x longer than the video reviews.

  • I usually agree with these guys, but can't do it this time. This movie was very enjoyable. It got some things wrong towards the end (wrong lyrics during Rainbow Connection, for example), but in all, it was well worth full admission price.

  • Co-Host, you want Muppets with guns? 3 words: Meet the Feebles.

  • The Moopets are almost a parody of "Meet the Feebles" which would be great to have another sequel of.

  • OMG a Muppet Pulp Fiction would be epic

  • @jueshua148 Someone did edit a trailer for it a few years ago. Just search for Pulp Muppets.

  • wow, they are the first people I've heard bad mouth this muppet film.

  • Comment removed

  • Has there ever been a review where all 4 of them give totally different reviews from each other?

  • @TheToxicOffender In there inception review they came pretty close I think

  • Comment removed

  • why does the audio sound off?

  • WAKA WAKA FUTHAFUKA!!!!

  • wow looking at the reactions to this movie is crazy, i grew up with the muppets and love them still today, but when i saw the movie it was only ok, they jokes were repeated too much until they were stale, but i did have a fun time with the movie, its just not the PERFECT move that some people say it is, those people are just in a orgasm of nostalgia

  • dam, todays movies fuckin suck...

  • im just glad they didnt just send the muppets to new york,

  • Muppets Treasure Island is a legendary film!

  • lol i wanna hear Fuzzy scream "DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH!?"

  • Full Price hands down!

  • First Spill review I've firmly disagreed with. Pretty funny though.

  • Haha, the Spill crew should see the video "Pulp Muppets"

  • Holy shit! Was that R.O.B. in the driver's seat in the intro!?

  • I'm sorry you guys obviously missed it for this movie. it was easily a 5/5 better than sex flickr!

  • @roadragebunny hear the audio review, they make good points and they justify their score quite well.

  • 306th!!!

  • the only recent one i saw was Muppets from space.

  • r these real muppets or r they cgi muppets a nd sexed up and hippified?

  • The Muppets is a delightful, fun, hilarious and touching comedy movie that will bring back sweet memories of nostalgia for Muppet fans everywhere.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

    Better Than Sex!

  • yeah i agree with you guys, it was a good movie but it wasn't that GREAT like everyone is saying AND IM A HUGE MUPPET FAN, but i did have a fun time with it when i was there

  • sad tyhing is that i thought this was the best movie of the year and i thought it was genuinely good

  • What's wrong with you guys? Normally I agree on your opinions, but I think you're being a little too cynical. It's the Muppets for crying out loud. Yes, I did think that the movie had flaws, but it still was a good time that families could go and enjoy together. It may have been a method to dip our feet back in after some of the other less successful films, hence why we weren't involved with them directly. Personally, I thought it was a labor of love, and that should be considered when reviewing
