@TheAcosta23 i did like the plot with mr. house and the new vegas strip, and the legion and all that, and how you could backstab them both, but i couldn't stand some of the radio stations and songs. since i was new to fallout with fallout 3, i expected all of the games to be similar to that one, with the D.C. city theme.

Fallout New Vegas has the much better story IMO, it was made by the guys who made the original fallouts (1,2 and tactics) as well. FO3 had a different style which I personally did not like, and the story and the locales were just too silly and not very good IMO. Gameplay in FNV is better, it feels like a more refined version of FO3.

But a lot of people like fO3 more for reasons I do not understand (usually the reasons why I did not like it).

@JoshuatheKodiak I'll agree to an extent. Fallout 3 touched me in a way most games don't. I can say the same for New Vegas, too. But Fallout 3 will always hold a place in my gaming heart. It so inspiring and just a great game. New Vegas was, too. I like both and I hope Obsidian makes a Fallout in the future.

I liked the less killing. Fallout is first and foremost an RPG, not an action game IMO (and apperently also in the original creators O, which new vegas proves). I really loved the more in depth story and the different factions in New Vegas. I don't really like killing for the sake of killing.
