    at 1:23 . in original song 1:11.

    cool performance maan

  • @33COOLMAN33 you heve perfectly right...i check'd it :))

  • @kor0004 yeah did u check it at ultimate guitar com ? x)

  • 0:00 - 6:53 , whole great.

    but i really like especially - 1:00 - 1:13

  • Jon Anderson has a fantastic voice, with many power, emotion, feeling. But your performance on stage is so bizarre, wimp, ridiculous here. Why? He always had charisma.

  • that guitar sound processor Trevon Rabin used in that concert was huge! I was impressed when I saw it back then and I'm still impressed now.

  • Progressive Rock... This is a Classic. In Brazil, They playing in Rock in Rio in 1985... Good Times...

  • Steven Soderberg directed that concert movie.

  • @wiltner no shit??cool...

  • Speak when you are spoken to/ Don't pretend you're right/ This life's not for living/ It's for fighting and for war/ No matter what the truth is/ Hold on to what is yours

  • my phather saw them in NewYork at year 85-86 man he even smoked weed with my mother just in order to remember that day. he told me th feeling whas so big he evn cry whatsing them btw we are greeks and this kind of good music its very very rare here. from all bands i saw live only roger waters worth it. always talking about GR. love this band!!

  • I believe in eternity!

  • They look the same as gay people...

  • Awesome!!!!

  • Yes live has always been a pleasure to watch. mastery technique, the building up of tension......

I didn't quite like the "dry" guitar sound and style of Rabin the first time I listen to the album, but the more I listen the more I like it. Very crunchy and powerful.

  • the rebirth of a myth !!!

  • Friends, for your consideration....

    BEST BASSISTS OF ALL TIME

    1) Chris Squire

    2) Steve Harris

    3) Bernard Edwards

    4) John Entwistle

    5) Tony Butler

    6) Stanley Clarke

...And what say you thus far, and from there?

  • @ratricide you could add lots of other bassists ie ,phil lynott , john mcvie just to name a few to that very impressive list of yours

  • @ratricide

What about Jaco Pastorius?! And Stanley Clarke at 6th place... No way.

    The list goes:

    Jaco Pastorius

    Stanley Clarke

    Chris Squire

    ....

  • . What a great comeback ...

  • YES is YES...!

  • Fookin AWESOME

  • Fantastic, better of Yes only Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd.

  • Simply perfect!

  • John Peel was a fan and championed the early Yes stuff but once the band got a bit of success he seemed to wash his hands of them and slate their work.

John Peel seemed to do that with alot of bands..........he was always promoting some new and upcoming band every 2 fucking days.......

42 years of Yes isnt bad for being pointless you arse jockey

  • i love this song!!!so uplifting:):)

  • As John Peel once said., this band are pointless.

  • I love that song!

  • dedasa tknamen ai! :))

  • Not true. The 90125 is a very refined album. Good material, and the success is supports that.

The 70's produced a lot of awful songs too. I can't bear many YES' songs from that era.

  • i feei old

  • You do? I just realised that all the Yes members here had'nt reached 40 yet.

Now Im the same age as Squire in this vid, and 26 years seems to have flown by.

  • Това е музика от преди 20 години. Най добрите.

  • I bought this record one week ago..On LP, i payed 1 pound..! My record player dosen`t work, it will be be fixed very soon. I collect LP`s. But this sounds nice. I have only heard "owner of.." hope the LP is better, cause "owner ..." is not a favourite. :) Peace

  • it´s not a favorite but it´s A yes song...that is good enough :)

    peace

  • Bravo à Trevor Rabin pour son coup de patte tout au long de cet album qui est mon préféré.....

    90125, un nombre magique!!!!!!

  • obviously their "new wave" era ! haha

  • Good song, but oh those 80s haircuts. Eek!

  • Well, it is quite obvious when you compare their ability, both technically and musically. Also how they contibrute to the instrumental part so the Yes songs.

  • Really apparent when you compare the keyboard part of Starship Trooper.

  • Tony Kaye is their weak point - seems like an amature compared to Rick Wakeman

  • I don`t think so

  • Great

  • Esse vídeo fêz e fará parte da minha vida pelo resto dela!

    "Thank's kalingzeye"

  • I love Relayer, I love 90125. Old yes or new the band is so creative it hurts. Its amazing that a band that is extremely progressive can pull off sucha great pop rock album. Even if you are a die hard YES fan you have to appreciate the creativity of 9025. Even for pop rock it was a melodic feast for the ears.

  • one of their best songs- love the harmony

  • talk about a big guitar pedal board!!

  • I love this album, it has the greatest songs in it.

  • This is extremely tight. Great memories of high school parties.

  • haha i wish music like this was played at parties today. it's better than half the modern crap.

  • I love that high pitched voice jon has as

like geddy lee & sting, very natural.

  • Sim

  • Hard to believe these guys aren't in the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame. What a sham

  • agreed

  • the "Duran Duran" look had made its way through the 80's, even for the greatest bands...it helped to look younger! laso notice the "naked" stage, very typical of the era...

  • I really love this Yes lineup..have just ordered 90125 remaster to replace my very old version.

  • @SiberianKhatru:

You know, I kind of agree with you, the 80s was good for metal, other rock kind of did take a step back, but then you have to think of things that did come of that era, like Talking Heads, or Laurie Anderson.... Kind of agree, Kind of disagree. Definitely agree with your name though :)

  • i agree with you on that part actually. im not very fond of 90125 just like many other yes fans because of its "pop" style. the 80's was a retrospect...

  • C'mon, I'm a YESHEAD myself, It was just a flirt with Pop, not a long time relationship like the one Collins' Genesis had with it. So it's all forgiven...not forgotten, because it rocks, even for pop standards...

  • Jon looks like a girl, gotta love 'em though.

  • Maybe they were just secure in their sexuality, ha ha:)

  • I think the video of the tour was nominated for best cinematography or something. Awesome tour and album conspired to make me believe Yes was back with vengeance.

  • I only saw YES once, but there will NEVER be another band like them. Pure perfection. Flawless musicians and vocals.

  • your an idiot, these guys are amazing, you play like this live? i doubt it, not many bands can pull this shit off live, there professionals, some of the very best. this aint no studio recorded overdubbed bullshit, there awesome

  • Yes is one of the all time greatest Rock bands ever master poets and musicians!

  • I always liked them better when Trevor was around, Union is my favorite.

  • im trying to find out a song it goes somewhat hold on its never enough never enough.. idk who it is help?

  • Is it New Order?

    Try searching on :

  • I can't be the first person to point out that Anderson points to the right when he sings about justice to the left of you, and he points to the left etc

  • It's called audience P.O.V., thx.

  • first class music

  • Great CD thru and thru! Still, I love Close to the Edge the best!

  • I was at the filming of this show in Edmonton. Yes filmed it over 2 nights at Northlands Coliseum. What was impressive was the quality of the music and performance. What was really sad was that ticket sales were so bad that our tickets were good for the second night as well. The coliseum was half empty so the producers of the show had a bunch of us move around for different panning shots for the crowd shot component of the film. Great show, nonetheless.

  • Wow. It's hard to believe it wasn't a sellout crowd cuz Yes was really popular during that time. Still a great video though & one of my fav live performances of all time. Wish I could've been there.

  • "Yes" is such a great name.

  • Oh the ending is wonderful ;D

I'm amazed how well this song sounds live. Probably my favourite track from the album. I'm also really digging Trevor's shirt

  • TONY KEY tiene su estilo....el toca así y está bien para el performance...

  • Totally brilliant. reminds me of Boston in late 1985. good times, shit times, but always athmospheric times.... good soundtrack to it all, 9012Live..

  • Where's the original MTV video????

  • Steven Soderbergh directed this video when he was 23. What a prick.

  • Trevor Rabin!!! guitar-man

  • Comment removed

  • HA! Chris is wearing his heart on his sleeve!

  • WHERE IS THE VIDEO!!!

  • Is this really a live performance??

  • This is the weaker Yes imo, Drama was their last and greatest effort, after that they pretty much just became a mediocre comercial band.

  • I always liked Trevor's playing and writing. I think the 80s Yes holds up just as well as the 70s lineup.

  • talk box ... so cool !!!!

  • trevor rabin and tony kaye were the best thing that ever happened to yes. they definetly updated their sound and could play rings around steve"the corpse"howe and rick"Put me to sleep"wakeman.

  • i think you might be right!

  • Wakeman was Tony Kayes replacement. Tony is just as much of an old school yesman as is wakemen. 90125 is a masterpiece. Excellent compositions, excellent musicanship, excellent production, and a chemistry that is rare. This chemistry shines through on the entire album.

  • YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

  • I could and did kick myself for loosing this tape and buying 3 times over long ago!!!!

  • I like the old stuff, but i haveto say that the era with Rabin was the best in my opinion.

  • I agree, Close To The Edge was their best album, but 90125 would have to be their second best ever! My personal favorite.

  • Indeed;-)

  • love how alan white start this amazing song

  • howe is incredible rabin is intense there 2 of the best of our time and neither gets the recogniton they deserve we all know how truly talented they are yes is one of the very very best bands of all time i wish they were all together like on the union compilation i mean so much talent and artistry even roger dean who does their art i loved asia too

  • Steve Howe FTW!!!

  • Steve Howe is awesome, but it was actually Trevor playing guitar there.

  • 2:49 though 3:13 is the best part

  • I do like Rabin, and some musics from 90125 are awesome, but nothing beats Steve Howe

  • YES! YES! YES!Say YES for YES!

  • I love YES! :)

  • nice hair line alan lol *sigh* oh well, i'll look the same in about 10 years.

  • JUST GREAT,AS ALWAYS.

  • I was about 13 when this came out, so this was pretty much my introduction to Yes, along w/Owner of a Lonely Heart (of course) ALWAYS loved this song & video.

  • Its funny, I've always liked Rabin. I love classic Yes but I really couldn't be without Rabin Yes either.

I see it all as good music, I wish everyone else could instead of letting whether they like the particular musician or not.

  • Never Too Excellent..!

  • This album continues to inspire me since the day of its release. I absolutely cherish this masterpiece. It's Dark Side of the Moon on caffeine.

  • Chris Squire is a baddass!

  • rawr!

    i luf this vid Cu

  • I first heard this album 24 years ago, I still get it out and enjoy listening to it. Yes were all successful session musicians and I don't believe that they actually after commercial success, however under Trevor Rabin's influence they became a lot more commercial, not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

  • good stuff and am glad people still like this. Was always a bit alone in the early 70s as a Yes fan

  • what a masterpiece for me this song..

  • I love Alan's drumming

  • yes the solos plenty of entertainment

  • Trevor Rabin wan an instrumental piece to YES. Talented and fresh, he helped keep them on the charts. He added something that kept them going.

  • Trevor Rabin is a musical genius!!!

  • I saw this concert in 1983. @ the Worcester Centrum in MAss. LOVE IT. Everyone was so baked MAN!

  • isn't this concert in Edmonton?

  • This band is flawless regardless.

  • Yes without Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe just ain't good enough...

  • Trevor breathed incredibly successful life back into them when they were pretty lifeless commercially speaking. Before Mr. Rabin came along, I only knew Yes for Roundabout. He turned me on to them, so maybe he had something to do with them making buckets of money & being success. And yeah, they sound great with him writing, playing and singing. They weren't stupid. They knew a gravy train when they saw and heard it.

  • so these guys aren't in the rock 'n roll hall of fame... yeah, that makes perfect sense if you're i.q is sub-70. Yes should be in for their first 5 or so years alone. same goes for the Moodies .

  • Preach it!

  • The "cute" director is Steven Soderberg (Traffic, Erin Brockovich, Ocean's Eleven). It was his first big directing job.

  • what a yes! great guitar, great band.

  • What a rush

  • What a yes

  • This was covered by Partners in Crime...John Coghlans band after he left status Quo..trivai fans!!!!ha

  • I would have liked this a whole lot better had they excised that damnable 50s footage, and the rest of the "cute" director's tricks. We want to see the band, not the other garbage. What in the world were they thinking? Other than that, great concert.

  • Um..Eighties, need I say more!??

  • Love this extended version of the song. I need to find this on CD somewhere... Excellent guitar work in this live performance.

  • your weed is in need of exorcism!

  • Trevor Rabin is God!!! Tremendous musician!!! Phenomenal composer!!!

  • Trevor's a great musician. I disagree that Yes was the vehicle for his own tunes as it was the insistence of Squire that they later recruit Anderson what was originally the Cinema project. I don't believe Trevor Rabin was looking to join Yes inasmuch as to create Cinema. Do a Wikipedia search on Rabin.

  • Yes needed Rabin to gain further success.

  • If what you say would be true then Trevor Rabin is far more talented than the other 4 pushovers? Get your facts togehter...

  • THis was on 9012Live, if im not mistaken... as was an instrumemtal called Si... Sufkingperb. Bothwell road, Boston, 1986... ah, the memories. keep snowin'.....

  • This is so 80s!! lol

Man, haven seen this in a LONG time. Actually had it on VCR tape. I remember when Rabin wore his outfit on the Union Tour during Owner I believe

  • this is actually on dvd as well! it's got some bonus items: backstage footage from the clevland show, interview w/bandmembers, this same show minus all the cheesy 80s special effects and an encore w/roundabout.

  • This was also here in Argentina on 1985. Unforgettable.

  • I was at this show in Edmonton. Brilliant!

  • damn, when was this ??

    hahaha

  • I want that strat !!. . . some comments below about TR ruining Yes. . .He saved a band that were spiralling down out of fashion. . he made them a more commercial band sure, but if he had not, Yes would be consigned to history by now, which would be a shame because I like both!. . and did I mention that Strat !

  • "It was the heat of the moment..." Steve Howe made a few pennies off that one, I'm sure.

I remember thinking his pants were weird. Now that I'm older, I wish I could pull off their look.

  • YESSSSSSSSs! atlast someone with brains on youtube!!! thanx bcfc 1961!!!(now if only yes would write about the issue of 911=inside job!!!!

  • It's too bad users can't rate comments because this one is 5 stars! Dead on and I liked both as well (too bad my wife hates both).

Sigh...the compromises we make for love.

  • Uh, that comment was supposed to end up under bcfc1961's comment of 3 weeks ago...

  • Dont worry I got the comment, thanks!. . . . .Your right about the compromises we make for love, I should be married to Eva Longoria, but hey ! . . thems the breaks !

  • Bet Eva's not a pleasant spouse. Be careful what you wish for.

  • sounds like the title of a song!
