  • Why don't they just discuss something properly? This is like Yo Mama or 8 Mile.

  • And I thought US politics was fun to watch. Gonna miss Barney Frank but Mr. Brown makes up for it.

  • and i thought at times the german parliament had order issues

  • Good comeback from Cameron at 0:57.

  • @The1985Channel Lets face it its no big deal humiliating that piece of shit. The Slack-jawed Cyclops is the most useless and incompetent PM we have ever seen in our history by a country mile !

  • @Bellalodicci9 Brown was never going to win the 2010 election and the "bigoted woman" gaffe pretty much sealed it. Cameron is far from perfect but he has a good chance of winning the 2015 election if Labour keep Miliband as leader.

It would have been interesting to see what happened if Tony Blair had led the Labour Party into the 2010 election.

  • this is why i want to be an MP LOL

  • it sounds like the speaker is saying "arthur, arthur, let the prime minister speak" i kept wondering who is arthur? does he mean david? before i realized what he was saying

  • Brown got owned ! He's got a face like a bulldog licking piss off of a nettle. Love it ;o)

  • Labour let the Banks run their business like a fucking casino! Brown flogged our gold reserves off at such a low rate that he would have been better talking it down to We Buy UR Gold on the local high street!

The one eyed man may be king in the land of the blind but here he proved to be a total fuckwit who history will judge as one of the most inept PMs ever!

  • is it just me but do mps in the house of commons remind me of a rowdy group of people just from the pub

  • @manchee3 Well I think they do have a bar...

  • kEEP THE RICH. RICH!!. AND KEEP THE POOR POOR !!!!! CAMERON IS EVIL!!

  • Comment removed

  • These are the greatest minds in the UK all in one room. This IS why our country is so *ucked up, its *ucked up from the top down.

  • oh dave, you spoon-headed tit

  • I fucking hate Cameron

  • Cameron 1 Slack Jawed Cyclops 0

  • Someone needs to make this into a sitcom!

  • @guyalanlewis It is a fucking sitcom!

  • Wow really entertaining! Would never even dream of watching debates like this as someone from China(ps YouTube is banned there ,I can only watch these during my travels to Europe,,,sad:( )

  • @Tracy8509 wow...damn

  • Which speaker is this?

  • @abzversion3 Micheal Martin.

  • British politics is absolutely despicable. I'm ashamed that these monkeys represent us.

  • @azkanan Get a grip

  • @azkanan Not all of them. We've had some really great leaders like Winston Churchill, Clement Altee, Howard Macmillan, Harold Wilson, John Major, Ted Heath etc.

Since Thatcher came into power, politics have had more invalid arguments.

  • @boffinme80 John Major, Ted Heath? LOL

  • @ChrisMono What is your problem??

  • @boffinme80 I'm not sure who "Howard Macmillan" is, but there was a bloke called "Harold Macmillan" who was our Prime Minister from 1957 to 1963. Maybe the two of them are related. :D

  • @azkanan You should see Canadian politics.

  • Can i move to britain?

  • um..isnt voting on the downing st website supposed to be anonymous? Brown clearly stated he knew the names of people who voted..how?

  • Look at all the books Brown needs Maths for Dummies, Britain for Dummies and Politic for Dummies.

  • To be fair, shredding Brown to bits isn't hard. Just like when Tony Blair ripped David Cameron to pieces in PMQs.

  • Cameron's an idiot. He's all talk and nothing else. To be honest almost all our prime ministers have been like that, elected simply cos they make impressive words with their talkie round holes lol

  • Oh Cameron...youre suck a fucking hypocrite.

  • just like 2 little children.....

  • Thats how you get people to follow Parliment sessions, very interesting, like a soccer game, lol

  • It's all in Cameron's body language... pay close attention to how comfortable he looks next to Brown

  • You should watch The Shadow feeds on Gordon Brown.

  • We need a man like Cameron in Sweden.

  • Classic - Cameron destroys Brown here - he is far fleeter of with than Brown .

  • Brown owned Cameron here. Although pretty poor arguments from both of em.

  • I'm from Canada, all I can say is Wow, I wish we had a show like that during our question peirod. And you guys should vote Liberal Democrats if you can't stand either Tories or the socialist labour

  • @sonic2277 First of all, Labour isn't socialist. Used to be, half of them are millionaires now.

Second, this may look democratic and exciting but it is possibly one of the most elitist forms of politics in the world. It's stuck a hundred years in the past. It's pathetic. It may look like democracy, but don't forget that Brown not only never won an election, there never was one!

Now, having only 57 of over 600 seats, the Lib Dems are helping to rule the country even though Labour have 258!

  • Labours idea of democracy = Give everybody rights and equality - apart from white/atheist/heterosexual/males.

  • hee hee...Margaret Thatcher...brilliant!

  • does mr.speaker have a name or is his name really mr.speaker

  • @bvb1233199 John Bercow. Notice how they never refer to them first person i.e 'The prime minister', 'the shadow chancellor', 'The honorable gentleman'. I'ts just a strange parliamentary thing :L

  • i think its astonishing he had the 2 most important jobs for so long. he has no charisma, competence and can barely read write and count, osbourne has very little to live up to.

  • @freddystar011235 your missing the point

  • Then the next thing he tells us is that its 'a privellage to own your own home, not a right' um wrong hitler its a basic survival need you fascist scumbag. Let me take away your huge house and give it to a single mother of 4, then have you complain about it. Thanks voters! P.s Nick clegg you've got a bit of brown on your nose you tory bastard

  • @ShadowHawkk Uhh you can rent? It's what I do.

  • allways riots when the tories are in power, massive cuts in all areas of public sector..Those of you who arent complaining and upping david cameron are basically business owners, or rich people, or rich kids who have no idea about working, or racists who've lost your job to a foreigner (although it doesnt matter whether their foreign, you would have lost it to a white guy if he wasnt coloured) point is the tories are tories for a reason...all you 'time for a change' fools arent feeling the pinch

  • @ShadowHawkk Racism? If you ask me, we need more of it, not less. You can try to be all-inclusive and support multiculturalism, and everything seems fine and good from afar. But then, the honor killings and arranged marriages and class struggles start. It's happening here in the states, too. Remember that Egyptian guy who shot his own two daughters in the back of his taxi cab in Texas? We need to deport all these fucking dirty-ass ragheads. Send them back to their shithole countries.

  • @Spartan043 Nope, you still sound like an ignorant prick.

  • @JacopeX I still don't understand why so many liberals would take sides with ultraconservative muslim radicals who want their head on a pike. I guess that comes with the territory when you're a dumb pacifist.

Why should we give barbaric immigrants any leeway in imposing their dogmas on the rest of us? We let them into our countries, so they can burn and trample our flags. So they can import their disgusting culture that treats women like shit. Fuck Islam. Deport them!

  • @JacopeX Better yet; deport them, and then nuke Mecca and all those fucking piss-ass countries into glass.

Did you see what those Libyan dick-shits did to Gaddafi? Lynched him. Ripped him apart like wild dogs feasting on a deer cub. Do you want those animals on your own soil? I sure as fucking hell don't!

  • I love you David Cameron

  • Comment removed

  • Cameron kicks ass here, Brown was easy meat...

  • Cameron was so much better in opposition

  • Cameron is a hero...

  • Brown was a career driven ego-maniac. NO ONE wanted him to be Prime minister but that didnt matter to him, all the mattered to him was his career advancement. What a tosser.

  • Gotta love Question Time

  • @marmaline2001 Which is why it's leading the polls.

  • Cameron got the economy wrong then and now.

  • ORDER YOU FUCKING LOONS

  • never imagined that the house would be this noisy. it's like a class with naughty pupils.

  • @macmelmorgan well fuck me since when werent politicians people with emotions?

  • @u7alll what do you mean? Shouldn't politicians be a bit more reserved?

  • Here we go...putting the "fun" in politics.

  • LET HIM FUCKING SPEAK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Look, keep off brown and blair's backs...they ended Boom and Bust!

  • @tobyn123 harriet harmann - loved it mate lol

  • HA TAKE THAT BROWN !!!

  • these aer the people that run our country? seriously, its like a bloody posh gang war. they all need to grow up and actually collaborate to make a better britain.

  • @drummerboy7227

I think its cool how they do this; I try to watch C-span every time they show the house of commons.

  • Can anyone imagine Bush having ever done something like this? Responding to his critics in congress? Ha, I would pay to see him attempt it. Would be so entertaining. But really, this is awesome, my hat goes off to the way they do things in the U.K.. Can't get over this, never gets old.

Wish our politicians were held accountable for their votes and their decisions. They never have to answer for anything.

  • WHY DOENST THE US FUCKING DO THIS. LET THE TWO POLITICIANS JUST GO AT IT.

  • @doerrfan cuz usa is pussy

  • @doerrfan THIS WAS FUCKING AWESOME ! "the us needs to start drinking some mother fucking tea and eating some mother fucking finger sandwiches!" - thumbs up if you got this quote form the Daily Show. AHHA

  • @doerrfan Come to Canada! Our politicians get to do this!

  • well we dont need cameron to be rip apart when in power ..he doing it to himself an treating puplic like fool..7.7 cameron boom

  • "He's the First Prime Minister in history to flunk an election because he thought he was going to win it"

ROTFL! Best Description of Brownie Ever!!

Made better still by how effortlessly Cameron cuts him down to size.

    Cameron you

  • @1Alzahrawi You're Kidding...... right?

(if not you need help.... Badly).

  • britians bush

  • @jp1090 Me too!

  • Gordon Brown is a legend, a very rare breed of politician who is sincere and moral and who has backbone. The UK became a lesser country when he left office.

Cameron is the complete opposite; no moral conviction, corrupted and driven only by greed

  • @1Alzahrawi hahahahahah that is fucking hilarious

  • @1Alzahrawi how dare you. Gordon brown is a commie red traitor. That flooded in migrants and illegal muslim paki immigrants. Cameron isn't perfect but he's a charasmatic leader & most importantly a conservative.

  • @LorryTheUltraTory Cameron charismatic. Cant stop laughing at that one, you got any more.

  • @1Alzahrawi How is it moral to have future generations pay for our services?

  • I wish that the U.S. Congress was like this..

  • @jp1090 Canadian Parliment is like this.

  • Conservatives want lower taxes and a more free market. labour are the inefficient party.

  • I wish Congress was like this. This is aswesome

  • Alasdair Darling always sits there just smirking

  • next he'll be telling us how much he admires Margaret thatcher!

    class

  • Conservative are just going to be a Tax & Spend Government, and they will only blame it on the Labour Party.... like always, any reason to tax everyone and blame it on others.... Cameron just pull all the troops back from around the world we cant afford it.... but no tax all.... ok for the rich not for jo public .

  • @chitpaul wow, you reall dont know a damm thing about the conservatives do you?

You do of course realise that the Tories have always been the party of low taxes and lower public spending? The complete opposite of what you say?

They can blame it on the Labour party, because the Labour party are the ones who left this country in a God awful economic state. Simple as that.

So if you are going to talk rubbish, at least have a basic understanding of politics first.

  • @drwhofreak100 so where does all this pension money come from? Where does all the money for uni payments come from? Oh yeah ... Let's just raise taxes. Let's make people pay the lives of others. What a great idea. Ugh :rolling eyes:

  • well if i was brown i would of said well cameron you is a belend mate :P

  • well at least brown was doing better than cameron. all camerons is doing is halving pensions and increasing university payments.

  • @DrWhoFreak100 Where do you think the money comes from for state pensions? As for private pensions, workers were rightly saving into private pension schemes in order to ensure they had enough put by without relying on the state...........guess who fucked that up..........oh yes, your right, one Mr Gordon Brown. His Scrapping of the dividend credit on pension schemes in 1997 hit 18 million workers pension schemes to the tune of £5 billion a year leaving huge short falls & workers with no pension.

  • @markyboy1704 yeah i suppose your right.

  • @DrWhoFreak100 And who pays for both those things otherwise!?

    THE TAXPAYER!

Why should people who work hard have to pay for others pensions and further education when they themselves dont get it?

    Selfish socialist.

  • @Kozzy06 calm down

  • Fuck off back Kirkaldy ,you "One-eyed Scottish Idiot", where the dumb, basic primitIves appreciate you and stick your "Open Door" Immigration policy where the sun don't shine. You are a fucking traitor, an unmitigated disaster and a national disgrace. You owe this country a BIG apology for the complete ham shit you have left in your wake.

  • @Bellalodicci9 hear! hear!

  • @Bellalodicci9 Its 'Kirkcaldy' you dipshit English bastard!

  • @flyfifer1982 You should be more concerned of the effects of mass uncontrolled immigration under Labour than my spelling. Thanks for correcting me.

  • And now the unions are protesting .... So taxing everyone else in the UK for a few union groups is good?

  • Wow, and I thought the US Congress was polarized!

  • Sad that not British :(

  • Screw David Cameron. I would rather have Brown then that pile of horse crap. Bring Nick Clegg in, he knows what he's doing unlike this useless tosser.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig Nick Clegg is "in" hes the deputy prime minister.

  • @Rabsmyth1

I know, but I'm suprized he's working for that stupid David Cameron.

  • i laugh when gordon brown says nondomiciles!

  • "Cameron shred Brown into Pieces"

    Where?

Cameron came up silly, childish points

  • Taking money from people is good???

  • Bitch got owned.

  • @johnredpath not embarassing at all. Its actually quite amusing and we are famous for our parliament as around the world they all sit there in silence listening to each others points....YAWN. Its good to see the jeering and jokes that fly around, gives it some interest. Well unless you look at the ukranian parliament where they fight each other and throw flares at each other

  • @93mccarthy

    Lol

  • I wouldn't call this Cameron shredding Brown... He really didn't. They just bitched at each other like two cranky men.

  • like a bunch of children backslapping and jeering what an embarrassing shower they are.

  • lol Cameron didn't get a majority and gordon brown prob only lost because of a breech of his privacy. I'm sorry but gordon brown has been better than david cameron and well i would of dreaded the though of the conservative in power when the finacial crash happened. they wanted to un regulate banks further they we're preped to bail them out. The only reason we have a large deficite is because of the bail outs

  • @BenFosterism I personally don't give a fuck about any political party but can we just get a couple facts straight. Brown removed 9 seperate regulatory bodies over seeing the financial sector between 1997-2006. He also endorsed the risk taking by banks. He also refused to take advice on his pensions raid, gold selling and his massive spending after taking over as PM. In 2008 net UK debt excluding bank bailouts stood

at £68 billion (a record debt)

  • @markyboy1704

Are you silly? The CC had taken hold by 2008. Look at the deficit in 2006. Buttons.

The CC came in from the USA. Did you know that.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad National debt 2005=£41 billion, 2006=£30 billion, 2007=£34 billion, 2008=£68 billion.

No it did not come from the USA. Mortgage securitisations were first used by Northern Rock back in 2001, this was high risk borrowing by retail banks, due to de-regulation. The high risk borrowing mortgages were packaged up by banks within weeks of the mortgages being approved and sold on. This meant huge sums of money being borrowed by British banks to people who could not pay it back.

  • @markyboy1704

"No it did not come from the USA. "

The Credit Crunch came from the USA. Are you totally mad?

  • @NearAbbeyRoad No, the UK bank collapses came from within our own borders, i told you that earlier..........are you listening, Mortgage securitisations. Northern Rocks problem created started a run against it & this caused a problem with bilateral exposures between banks.

When the US banks collapsed, Northern Rock hit problems because it had heavily over financed itself by borrowing from around the world in order to fund high risk mortgages. So it's exposure was nothing to do with the US Banks.

  • Actually, it came from British and American banks. Not just American banks. The problems were exclusive to the British and American banking systems, the most highly regulated sectors in the world economy, and yet the regulation still failed. Moral of the story is STOP USING THE BANKS TO FUND STUPID FUCKING SOCIAL ENGINEERING SCHEMES TO REMODEL SOCIETY BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK. Socialism has always failed, but liberty lasts forever

  • @Hamilcar275

What sparked the CC was the US, not the UK. Socialism prevented grinding poverty, so a success. The Tories had kids up chimneys.

Prof Charles Woodhart, of the Bank of England monetary policy committee, said, that standard forecast economic models are "effectively pretty useless".

Look up Geoist economics and Land Valuation Taxation.. Get this anachronistic Tory tripe out of your head. They want the status quo.

  • @Hamilcar275

A group of influential economists: John Bates Clark, Frank Knight, Francis Walker, Edward Seligan and Richard Ely, colluded 1000 yrs ago to change the building blocks of classical economics. Their mission was clear, to protect the vital interests of the privileged few. They concealed the unique qualities of the classical factors of production - LAND. The future they shaped is our reality.

A century of economic disasters followed ruining lives.

Look up Geoist economics and LVT.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Oh by the way, 2008-09 government spending (without bank debt) was £618 billion.

Total receipts for 2008-09 were £575 billion.......now i'm sure you can workthat one out.

The blame for the UK banking chrisis firmly lies at the feet of Brown & his "light touch regulation" approach to the financial sector.

  • @markyboy1704

    Are you silly?

The deficit was low until the CC - get it? It started late in 2007 - Northern Rock. £25bn given to NR which would have meant the deficit was only £9bn. Buttons for the UK

The large deficit in 2008/2009 (approved by Tories who would have borrowed more) was to bail out banks to prevent soup line.

Do you know what the Credit Crunch is?

    Where it came from?

Do you know it is a world-wide thing with all affected?

Brown was superb until a tidal-wave swamped the world!

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Your wrong, the defecit figures i quoted DO NOT include bank bailout!

Yes, your a typical Labour supporter who will not face up to the facts that 13 years of Brown has resulted in record debt. 2003= £34 billion debt, 2004=£37 billion debt, 2005=£41.5 billion debt. British banks were allowed to borrow excessively by Brown, 2006, mortgage debt in the UK hit £1 trillion.

BROWN REMOVED 9 financial regulatory bodies between 1997 & 2006......It's not rocket sciance.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad I did tell you earleir where the problem with UK banks came from..........Mortgage Securitisations...........from UK banks, not US banks, Brown actually endorsed "light touch regulation".........oh by the way, i forgot the 2002 figures, 2002=£20 billion debt. The economy had been in growth since 1992, he had record tax receipts but still left us broke.......His 1997 pensions raid left 18 million working peoples pensions underfunded..........not so great Mr Brown the clown!!!!

  • @BenFosterism they probably wouldnt have run a budget account deficit so i very much wouldnt have preferred labour. and to have them in power now would be diresome, they have one policy - to spend.

  • @BenFosterism

" i would of dreaded the though of the conservative in power when the finacial crash happened. they wanted to un regulate banks further they we're preped to bail them out. The only reason we have a large deficite is because of the bail outs"

Spot on! Lab could have been in power if they wanted - more horse trading with the LibDems. The LibDems are shameful. 2/3 of people did not vote Tory, yet these fools are back in power. Millions voted LibDem not wanting Tory and look!

  • Again your lack of understanding is hilarious. The Lawson reforms of 1988 introduced what economists call macro-prudential regulation. That regime worked fine as the Barings collapse did not bring down the British banking system. Brown abolished it in 1997 and introduced a micro-prudential system, which is basically box ticking. Brown increased regulation and still caused a massive fuck up

  • 71% of people didn't want Labour and 77% of people didn't want the Liberals. 63% of people didn't want the Tories, making them the most representative, or least unrepresentative of the electorate. We didn't have a large deficit because of bailouts. We had a large deficit BEFORE the crash, and it got bigger because Brown built his spending plans on fanciful assumptions of tax revenues that couldn't be sustained. If Brown had been honest, we'd have had a smaller deficit.

  • And to finish my point, if Labour had followed the Keynesian theories they professed to support, they'd have built a budget surplus prior to the crash. Keynes wrote that for fiscal stimulus to work, governments had to slash public spending during periods of economic growth, and they had to build a surplus. The deficit was over 3.5% in 2006, when we should have had a surplus after 14 years of consecutive growth.

  • And if the Conservatives were in power at the time, it wouldn't have made a difference because the 'kind, gentle, caring, compassionate, touchy-feely Tories' were committed to matching Labour spending plans, having abandoned conservatism in 1990 when they ditched the greatest peacetime PM this country has ever had.

  • @Hamilcar275

"abandoned conservatism in 1990 when they ditched the greatest peacetime PM this country has ever had."

    You are mad!

  • @BenFosterism

"The only reason we have a large deficite is because of the bail outs"

Many here can't figure that out. I wonder what planet they are on.

    Look at:

    v=6ZkfmY1PMng

The top earners pay 1.25m in tax in their life

    The Bottom 20% pay £250 000

The rich can claw that tax back in in a property boom in few years in increased land values.

The bottom 20% rent and get nothing

The poor subsidize the rich. Land Valuation Taxation, with NO income tax, rectifies creating an enterprise economy.

  • The top 1% of earners in this country pay 25% of all taxes. The top 10% pay 50% of all taxes, and the top 25% pay over 90% of all taxes. If you want so called 'vital and beloved' public services, then you need the rich to stay rich and keep paying all of that tax money.

  • What a bunch of idiots are the english politicians. They are so ill mannered, plain pathetic. They make 1st grade children act in a more civilsed. Shame on them. They all deserve a belting from the school master for such behaviour!

  • @goknur1977

"What a bunch of idiots are the english politicians. They are so ill mannered, plain pathetic. They make 1st grade children act in a more civilsed. Shame on them. They all deserve a belting from the school master for such behaviour!"

CORRECT. The House of Commons is inadequate. The parliament and economic centre should not be in the same city. We need a new proper building in a new capital. I vote for Liverpool as it is in the centre of the UK.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad Hear, hear! Mwah!

  • Stop fighting pointless wars! These guys can't run a bath let alone a country!

  • god i hate that Tory prick

  • wow... british politics is brutal.... and exceedingly loud...

  • @Darkpaint84 It's very medieval in some ways. Jeering and intimidating. I like!

  • @BassChanter compared to question time at the norwegian government, we're whispering in a quiet and these people has a rave with the bass set on full. how absolutely ridiculous :D

  • @Darkpaint84 Yeah - no offense but you Scandinavians don't have a personality. I've met Norwegians and Swedish. They also have a bad sense of humour. This though. This is politics at it's best! Rave with bass boost? Hell yeah!

  • @BassChanter no offense taken. we can be funny though, you just have to meet the right scandinavians.

  • @Darkpaint84 Haha true :D

  • @BassChanter

This is not politics, it is a circus. No way to run a country.

  • @NearAbbeyRoad It's not a circus because their not intending to entertain anybody. They humiliate the opposition to the extreme. Either forcing them to resign - which is what Gordon Brown did after this - or gaining public support.
