Hey, great lesson, fits right in with what I like to play. 1 question though;
The Howe vibrato, I've never tried to learn how to do it but now that I am I notice a lot of youtube players that use it have a very unevenly timed and pitched style. Yours however is very sweet and even.
How would you recommend I go about developing this technique while avoiding the pitfalls? slides to a metronome or something similar?
@WilsonAlmighty Hey Jon, I didn't use a metronome for working on this vibrato. Just worked on it slowly making sure that each pitch is even in volume. Once I had that down, I started bringing it into my improvisation. Doing that embedded into my technique.
Also learning tunes by Richie Kotzen or Greg Howe that have this vibrato will help.
Insane lick!
and well played!
Not the easiest though :(

I wish i could play metal as good as you. I seem to be naturally funk oriented lol.

@colosalblack I don't consider myself a metal player at all, I'm more of a blues/rock player.
You can throw this lick in a funk tune and blow everybody in the audiences minds.
Thanks for the comment.
