@KandiboyYoung1 Not exactly, because Soundcloud compresses all of their music to 128kbps. It is high quality enough for most people, but some people (audiophiles) prefer 320kbps for their higher end audio equipment. Personally for me, the difference is very hard to discern between 128kbps and 320kbps.

@OMN1DYN4M1X it may be hard to hear on headphones or computer speakers. But get yourself some studio monitors and you will hear the difference clearly. Also Dj's like myself need 320 for clubs because once you start blasting music, if you don't have 320 well, quite frankly, the music sounds like shit.

@BrettEats it only needs to be 128kbps, as most people can't tell the difference between a 128kbps track and a 1.4mbps uncompressed track (though there is actually about 90% of the music removed in a compressed track) unless they have a really expensive hi-fi, or use expensive headphones, and most people with ipods don't bother chucking the supplied earphones which suck worse than rebecca black, meaning they miss at least half of the detail that is there in the compressed track

My intentions for this video are to allow downloading Soundcloud music that have no "download" link. Many Soundcloud songs are not available to be purchased. Nowhere have I said that "this video allows you to get paid songs for free". Besides, Soundcloud is no place to put your music if you are intending to sell it since exploiting Soundcloud is too easy.

When a song on soundcloud is not available for download or doesn't have a "buy this track" link yet, it means that the artist is probably working his butt off finding a good label to put out his music properly, have it mastered, etc.
