The game design (levels, difficulty) is not BAD, it's the NEC's limitations (no scrolling, messed-up physics) that make it bad. As proof, the NES hack is mighty fun to play.

Seriuously - I downloaded this game to see what it was like. Lemme tell you- it was unlike anything I've ever seen before.

And not in a good way, mind you. Personally, I think the timer is too fast; it's impossible to finish a level with the timer racing like Sonic the Hedgehog. (Hmm... conspiracy? Nah.)
