How is the 250? I'm 14, 6 foot 1 and 140lbs, my 125 is getting small, breaking down, and just isnt the same. I want something with power but not too much. is the 250 a lot to handle? I want a 250f or 2502t but im afraid the 2 stroke is a bit much.

@littlman284 you shouldnt have a problem with the 2 stroke.. i went from an 85. my thought on it is that there is a throttle for a reason and u dont always have to use it all if your not comfortable, but like i said i dont think youl have 2 much trouble, the only big difference is that there is so much more low end torque on a 250... just my opinion.

@littlman284 honestly 2 strokes even if they aren't more powerful feel that way it will be a powerful bike far more so than a 4stroke 250 maybe get a 03 on cr250 great bikes but far smoother than the yz250 it wont feel as much like your strapped to a rocket

@hams93390 with stockish gearing they run around 65-70MPH which doesn't sound all that fast, but in rough, tight trails or on a track it's pretty intense. But more than the top speed, it's the accelleration, responsiveness and power that make them so much fun to ride. I've done 180MPH+ on a sports bike and a 250 MX bike in the bush is way more fun!

@fasst0385 when going at speed its probably safer if you didnt take you hand off the throttle and pull on the lever. Plus 50stunts makes a left side brake that works with your clutch for that purpose.
