Correct, that algorithm does the same thing. At the time I was making this video, I was going for whatever algorithm I could supply rather than the most efficient one.

By the way, nearly all algorithms can be simplified by computers.

But it is very irritating on the eyes! Geez...also, those aren't contrapositives. A contrapositive is achieved in a logical statement by negating everything in said statement, creating a logically equivalent statement (e.g., X and Y = ~X or ~Y). Your "contrapositives" are more like negatives, because they do the opposite of the original algorithms.

i forget when i said contrapositives in the video, but uhh

"If z is x, then z is y", then the contrapositive would be "If z is not y, then z is not x"

invert the order of the two options and negative both of them :)

i breezed through algebra, i found it very easy (math has always been my best and favorite subject)

but all this geometry talk sounds very complicated, but somewhat making sense

im kinda scared now lol.

P.S. I took algrebra in... that's right.... 7th grade! honors math.... and i was great at it. looking forward to geometry (btw idk howto spell it :P)

Love the first two sets of algs - always used a much more complicated alg for the 90 degree steps.

But here's one for the 180 turn on the top that's a lot easier to remember.

for the middles, if you soin it towards you, its counter clockwise and if you spin it away from u its clockwise (you have to look at it from the right sude of the cube)

it means the same as "recipe" in math or programming. algorithms have steps that you follow to solve a problem.
