the speakers are good but the subwoofer is garbage

im guessing theyll be like 2-3 meters 5 meters max but theyre just an rca plug anyway so you can cut half way and attach speaker wire then re wire them back up with the rca plug

speakers are speakers an have no difference in what they are plugged into. the only difference is the z4i is white and the z4 is black ;p

did you know this? the subwoofer in the z4 & z4i is really 4"? the "subwoofer in the front" is just an 8" passive radiator. therefor logitech only used a 4" sub in these models. ;)

so I know that z4's& z4i's subwoofer is 203mm(8inch), on the Logitech's offical website write 20,3cms.

Although these are not THX certified and not half as good as the z2300 speaker, I would say these are ideal for personal use in rooms for listening to music, gaming etc. The thing with the z2300 is that that the sound / base is so high that i personally never played over 50%.

why didn't you go with the 5.1 or 7.1 it is basically the same price. Although that does look awesome on ur desk. By the way i dont know much about macs, so i dont even know if they can support 5.1 or higher.

hm even better would be a complete metal case but whatever, i listened to them at our local apple reseller and i think i can say "if youre looking for affortable speakers, BUY!" :D they sound rly good..or at least on the music that was on that ipod there...
