  • @Jon3800 thanks for the advice I really like the b smithi thanks and I subbed:)

  • Wat is the complete best t for begginers

  • @TheReptileguy300

As you saw in the video that's been playing on the channel page for a while now...B.albopilosum (curly hair), B.smithi (mexican red knee), Euathlus sp red (chile flame rump) and E.campestratus (pink zebra beauty)

  • K thanks Jon

Hey will two different kinds of Ts mate

  • @Jad3900

They could depending on the species (this works for Brachys), but it's not recommended that you do. Cross-breeding usually pisses off people and you'll find yourself having a hard time selling the slings. I have a B.verdezi x vagans hybrid T

  • Hey good work on the sack hope you get lots of slings. And by the way how can you tell if an egg is good or bad?????

  • @Jad3900

when you open up the eggsac you'll know right away. I've opened the regalis sac after 35 days with the mother (the day after I made this video) and the eggs were golden and were eggs with legs--- characteristic of a GOOD eggs. Another sign of a good sac is when the mom guards it till the day you remove it

BAD eggs are black in color, and it's important to remove them as it interferes with the good eggs. A bad eggsac is seen when you see the mom abandon it when its time to pull it

  • Do u need heat under it??

  • @bluedragon1876

No. I get the heat from the room heater. The plastic bin might melt if I tried heating underneath it. As long as you keep the room above 75F, they'll be fine.

  • @Jon3800 how much is 75F in celcius grades?

  • @FightAgainstGrenades

    Exactly 75 °F is equal to 23.89 °C.

The conversion formula is Celsius temperature = 5/9 x (Fahrenheit temperature - 32)

    23.9 celsius.

  • @Jon3800 dammn, that's a high temperature, well, my dad will have to work hard to pay the bill!

  • @FightAgainstGrenades

dude 23C is like room temperature, it's not high temperature at all. I keep my room at 26-28C, that is high

  • @Jon3800 that's why you are always in t-shirt LOL, well, here in italy we get alwats those temperatures in summer

  • @FightAgainstGrenades

23 degrees is actually a cool summer here. Summers in Canada can get up to 35C, and temperatures up to -20C in winter. 22C is your average household room temperature if you're not running AC

  • @Jon3800 same here. Listen, do you remember the box shaped enclosure i had my rosie in? Is that good for mating?

  • @FightAgainstGrenades

    its fine.

  • @Jon3800

    Awesome incubator, Jon :-)

  • hi my name is adrian am 8 years old this is my mom's acount, I have a cuestion if my spider has a pink spot on her abdomen dose it mean it is ready to molt?

  • @angelica1178 nope, the spot has to be dark, like a bruise on her abdomen... that pink spot can be any kind of exoskeleton issue... my recommendation is to open a post at Arachnoboards with pics of your tarantula and his terrarium, with a picture of the pink spot, the experts can help you with your doubts about that. Im sure Jon3800 could help you too, if you send him pictures of your tarantula and his enclosure.

  • @angelica1178

no it's not. Like YogDodoth said...and it I saw my sling at the end of the video the bald spot has to be black/blue as you've seen. A bald spot implied she had kick some hairs, it's nothing to worry about as they will grow back with every molt

  • My Smithi molted the other day! Didn't see it though, so I'm really looking forward to see if you get to film the molt of Scarlet! Love your work man, keep it up!

  • @itchymaa

    will be anytime soon.

  • @itchymaa

    congrats :)

  • @squirrel648

I make around 3-5 cents per view

  • @Jon3800 That's awesome dude. I'm glad you can get paid doing what you love. Good luck to ya man

  • pull the sac im dying to find out if its good! Lol hope all goes well

  • @bigkennyj56

I just pulled it out..looks good. only 1 bad egg

  • how manny slings do you get with one sack?

  • @TheWallyjp

I should get somewhere between 50-150 slings with this one

  • @Jon3800 Wow i never realized that you could get that manny!!!!

  • @TheWallyjp

well it's species specific, some can lay a lot more. For example the salmon pink can have up to 2000+ eggs.

  • awsome video good luck with the sack!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good luck on the sac Jon =) and great incubator tutorial video =)

  • Hey jon, good job on the incubator =]. This reminds me, I have a MM N. Chromatus And have had an offer to breed him. I would get to keep 90% of the offspring. Do you think I should do it?

  • @MrCodyRandolph

    for sure man

  • Just like RobC's ! I cant wait to see the video for pulling the sac!

  • I was recently just given a Pterinochilus sp. sling and it just had it's first molt and I'm not sure on what the time limit is until I can feed him/her again. Could you shed some light on this?

  • @TheLyricalUndead

    3-5 days

  • Adds aside, another great video! I am getting excited for this project!!

  • Adds :(

  • @whoisgrossbard

I know it sucks. Sorry :(

  • @Jon3800 Well...if it's the cost of these cool videos than I guess it's not so bad. It's only a few seconds and if it will help you get some cash from the videos than that is only right. So...I guess I can deal with them :P

  • @whoisgrossbard

    that is true

  • Hope Zelda becomes a beautiful mom :) Best of luck! :)

  • GOOD LUCK WITH THE SAC JON :D

    hope its a good one

  • Man i hope this one is gonna be a success :D

  • hey jon I see the incu's that you can buy at reptile store whats the difference between yours/homeade ones and these? (sorry n00b question) cant wait too see some slings from yeah!

  • @axelroach

Axel, I've never seen one I have yet to see an incubator at a pet store here... but if it's similar to this.. it is no different. I like it homemade, since it's so much cheaper and fun to do as well.

  • @Jon3800 so now you have to pass a very angry mom

  • john nooo not ads

  • @mongoslade321

it's youtube why of making money.. This is the first time I've seen the ads up

  • I feel this is going to be a success. Best of luck! I am looking forward to all your videos.

  • lets hope that they are not dead!!! :D

  • So where do you put the sac? On top of the mesh?

  • @herpguy101

yes, it will be resting there.

  • Comment removed

  • This question has kinda been nagging me ever since I started watching RobC's breeding projects, what does one do with eggs that go bad or slings that die? Do you simply throw them away?

  • @Leon119

yes you throw them away. It's not healthy to keep them in there with the live ones.

  • looks good :) I think i saw rob used cut up pantie hoes...
