They really like the idea of having a desktop with widgets like Friends Stream that shows your facebook updates in real time or a weather widget. We all know the iphone is great but under no circunstance it could be better than an Android phone. Specially an HTC phone with Sense UI.

I like the hero a lot better... iPhones are much better in speed but many bugs. Iphone is a better phone overall but it's not customizable. Hero is completely customizable. I'm getting the hero in a few months hopefully.

wrong, that htc multitouch screen and scrolling look pretty bad compared to iPhone.

long press it not good either. i would rather just hit one button and be able to go to numbers etc, instead of the long press. i do have to say that i do like the dictonary where you get multiple words to choose from, that is nice.

@wael1234567890 the xperia x10 is a GREAT phone, big screen and other atributes, it is kinda slow though, and for now, its using android 1.2 or 1.5 :( but this year (2010) there will be an update which will put it in 2.1, my father has xperia x10, personally prefer the htc hero

The big diff is the Iphone suppors pretty much every format like MP4 ect.. The Hero which i have begun to notice after getting mine yesturday is its limited to lower quality MP3 music which sucks.. All the music i bought on itunes i cant move to my Hero.. I need to convert them to mp3...

I got the hero because its cheaper then the iphone and has better coverage.. the Iphone is better when it comes to music. the iphone is faster.. My hero is sluggish.

Hero doesnt support MPEG4 FORMATS.. At least according to there website... How do you move music and photo's to the hero anyway ? I have the sync software and driver, and when i plug my phone up i see the sd card and all the folders, however if i move my MP4 music from itunes to the music folder all i see when i look on the phone are the same 5 crappy songs that came with the phone..

When you are comparing/reviewing two electronic devices like this you need to cover everything that you think may be important to the viewer. Music playing on a cell phone is one of the most important features to some people, so he has to cover that in order to have a good video.

HTC seems to be a bit more choppy and lagging than the iPhone when viewing emails. Now i'm guessing this is the same with web browsing, and that would be a big turn down for me. 2.8 megapixels more in the camera? I have a 2.0 megapixel camera and I find those pictures to be of somewhat decent quality when uploading to facebook.

iPhone has a lot cleaner look, plus the aps.

I do expect HTC to make some major upgrades to their Hero but right now i'd still prefer the iPhone.

I had a G1 and sold it last year, bought the iPhone, have always wanted the GSM Hero and luckily found it on craigslist for trade for an iPhone, which I had. It was tough at first and took me about an hour (lol) to decide, but I realized I won't get an opportunity like this very often so I made the trade. Great decision on my part, love the Hero!

The problem is like all apple products, its the "Pretty Gizmo" that sells it.. The fun apps (pointless but fun) the shiny looking Mac book etc.. But its all over priced and for the technology inside any apple product there is much better for far less.. it just dont look as good..
