  • three fours sounds kinda like trifoce

  • infinity just means undefined value, you will always have value, and it is not 0 but .something

  • three fourths=triforce

  • thanks for this, you are really helping me here!!

  • the graph of the function y=(3/4)^x you did is wrong, when x=0, y=1 then the y-intercept is 1 and your graph aproaches to infinity when x=0???

  • too lazy to do the video over again

  • greattttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • When you corrected your graph, the resulting line looked like it might form a parabola. Is that right?

  • @gregryf no, the graph is not parabolic because it must be a quadratic and therefore must be squared. There is no square in y = 3/4^x. This is called an asymptotic relation, I believe. In order for it to be a parabola, both sides must be equal. To simplify; the word para means equal ... that's why when you square 9 for example, you get two equal 3's. Sorry if this is confusing. Hope I helped.

  • So religions and heretics are correct! God is everything in existence, but he does not exist!!!

  • Great set of videos! Thanks

  • here is somethig i dont understand... how can it have 0 area? thats impossible

  • @Capeau

I wouldn't get confused with the language. If this were a triangular piece of swiss cheese, if you iterated this method an infinite amount of times, you theoretically would have nothing but skin/peel left.

  • you're amazing, Thank You So Much!!!!

  • WTF... sierpisnki-triangle with negative area`? pardon, but this can't be right... how should an area be negative? an interation -1 is stupid and useless too

  • @MrRtomic I doubt he was suggesting Sierpisnki-Triangle has negative area. It's my understanding that he was showing you the graph of the function inferred from logic. Which was (3/4)^x. If you pop that into the calculator it's not going to say "WTF negative area!?!" It will just pop out that graph. But you are right, negative area/iteration = no. lol

  • @alexdenton02 yes, but iteration is defined in N, so, visialising the area with a function is nonsence^^

  • @MrRtomic Boooooh!!! This area is never negative, (3/4)^(-1)=4/3>0... is always positive (3/4)^n!!!!! ¿¿¿??? " interation -1 is stupid"... not... your comment is stupid!!!

  • I greatly admire how you explain things (especially math) 8D!

  • This is spiritual math!

  • Looks like the triforce, cool concept

  • wouldnt the surface area be 0 not infinite?

  • You're correct. The area of the Sierpinski Pyramid is zero, not infinite. The length is infinite, and the Hausdorff dimension is two. Google Sierpinski Pyramid and you'll find a website which explains this.

  • @Cagebreaker21 surface area is for 3d objects

  • You're a very good teacher. Keep it up, I've learned a lot with you thank you.

  • i can do this on my head... I notice... thanks for the new results

  • There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

  • You are awesome man! I've signed up for your website too.

  • I'm glad you picked up on that mistake in the graph, it was bothering me :)

  • Fractals are definitely among my favorite topics. :)

  • Thanks sir, please keep them coming.

  • si erers tan listo explica que somos de donde venimos y la infinidad del universo matematicas solo sirve para capitalistas contar con ambicion todo

  • que te pasa por que eres asi vamos hagamos una sequencia entonces vamo!!!
